Have recently watched 'Mama' could have been a great film, could have looked into the background of the ghost figure, but no killed off the character who was looking her up and then some contrived ending.
Any other films where the story was good but they didnt know how to end it and made a crap ending

Ok, was a pretty poor Vin Diesel vehicle, but the premise was good...then they killed off the love interest when it just felt like there was a lot more film to come!
It's a metaphor!
My guess is that Oliver Stone was forced by the studio to tack that on.
Hehehehehe. Yeah, I know that. Hitch was always like that - with putting in sexual innuendo here and there in his films. It still is an abrupt ending, as it doesn't deal with the aftermath that much.
Awful. Lazy. Anticlimactic. Such a shame.
Had odd pacing to begin with and then just...ended.
I didn't think the ending was so bad. If I remember right, the Russian attack overwhelms the outer defences, Steiner faces down the Captain and then leads him on a suicidal two man counter attack.
Do you know what should have happened?
Nope, there is a novel the film was based on but I've never read it. I kind of prefer the open ending..
There was a little known sequel with Richard Burton playing Steiner.
The Woman in the Window - Another cop-out!
Les Miseable (90s version)
All Rushed...
;-)
*hands out the egg*
*raptor takes egg*
*movie ends*
The directors cut not tho, seek that out and you'll find it has a proper ending
Legends Of The Fall, really enjoyed the 1st 2 hours then everything seemed a real rush finish as so not to make a 3-3 1/2 hour epic but a 2 and a bit hour rush job
Theres no ending to speak of. The film just finishes.
to be fair I felt that the movie never even started. The plot was a frickin mess and just as it looks like the finale is ramping up to a big moment it's all over with a whimper
The whole film never really went anywhere
