This new thriller starring Halle Berry was highly recommended by the film review guy on Daybreak today. He likened it to Phone Booth but says it's even better. A killer has a teenage girl in the boot of his car but she has a mobile and gets through to a 911 operator (Berry). In the clip they showed, she tells her to punch out the side light and put her hand through. A passing car then calls cops.

Only saw the trailer yesterday - looks good, but it didn't do so well in the US, just over $50 million since March.:(

For a film that cost $13m, I think Sony will be pleased with the $60m it's taken....

Got the US blu ray of this a few months back/

Cracking little thriller, lots of tension in the first 2 thirds, very inventive and compelling...it just loses it's way a little in the last third, goes down a different avenue and becomes more horror/serial killer orientated. Would'nt say it ruins the movie though, would still recommend it.

Sony are just the distributor, It's a World Wrestling Entertainment film.

And they'll be doing the happy dance with those figures, seeing as the rest of their forthcoming slate includes- See No Evil 2, Leprechaun: Origins, and "Untitled Scooby-Doo WrestleMania Movie" ;)http://www.imdb.com/company/co0242604/?ref_=ttco_co_2

Not sure where he got the running time from as its actually 93 minutes! Saw it the other night and really enjoyed it.

If you have Netflix and unblock to get the other regions it is on Netflix Mexico with no foreign subtitles. This is where I saw it three days before cinema release. As it turns out its not showing at my local cinema and I would have been annoyed to have missed it.

Probably one of the best films that are out at the moment after Rush.

    Thrilling from start to end.

Not a Bad little film 7/10....which most critics said - fails in the final third, but I'd say, just the last couple of minutes....
when Halle Berry goes all Die Hard on us....hilarious.

Was thinking at the start; they could make a TV series out of this 'pilot' film.....I'd watch it.

According to Wiki , this did originally start out as a TV series but decided to extend the pilot episode into a film.

I think they should have stuck with the Series.

But didn't Mulholland Drive start out as a TV series.

I agree about the final 1/3. It just seemed a bit odd but I think the ending gave it all justice.

I enjoyed this...reminded me of silence of the lambs a tad though, with the secret dungeon for want of a better word and psychos fascination with one type of woman!
