Hi all,
I am set to buy a 3D TV for the bedroom soon, however my girlfriend says that 23-26" would be ample enough for my size of room, where as I think that a 32" would be fine. I have done some measuring up & the distance between the head of the bed to the aerial point on the wall is just over 8ft.
Can anyone here advise ?
Thanks

I was considering a cheap brand like the Celicus in Sainsburys but after reading about some people experiencing a buzzing sound, I think that the Samsung maybe worth getting but still unsure because of the glasses not lasting that long on a charge. It seems that both Passive 3D & Active 3D has it's flaws. I am on a budget & don't really want to spend that much as it is only for the bedroom for use at night, with the odd 3D film when I am on my own.

Could be more than your'e willing to spend though. Samsung's are around the same price.
I was looking at this model from Richer Sounds, as I have a branch within a small walking distance & it is only £300 which is the maximum amount I will go to.
Excellent, now all I gotta hope is that they got some in stock as it cannot be ordered in.
I hadn't heard of this flaw & decided to google it, the results were shocking.
For goodness sake......Don't over react....It was a while ago and they are much better now......That said I have a 7 year old Samsung LCD running perfectly, still.....
You are correct with what you say . I have looked in loads of shops today & figured it would be pointless in getting a cheap / unknown brand for the £200/£250 mark when I can get a gorgeous set for that little bit extra. With that in mind, I have decided to save a bit more & get the SAMSUNG UE32EH6030.
The picture is crystal, sound is good & the 3d is active(comes with 2 pairs of glasses). The price in Richer Sounds is £300 or £330 if I decide to extend the warranty to 5 years.
Here are it's main features

I know that I orignally was only going to spend upto £250, but think that I would be better off getting this one.
You would normally mount a bedroom TV high up so you can see it whilst lying down but many LCD TV's are unwatchable when viewing from below.
Best TV for a bedroom is a plasma, they don't suffer from viewing angle issues.
Next thing to buy is a 3D Bluray player to save unplugging my PS3 from the main TV in the living room, a Wireless AV wireless receiver, so that I can have Sky in the bedroom & finally an Android Smart TV box as these seem to run better than the clunky built in ones on Smart TV sets
The nice man in Richer Sounds tried flogging me a Phillips Smart TV for £270 which did have a nice sharp picture, but the sound was horrendous. Besides my mind was already made up.
Thanks to all who have advised.
you can simply run a RF cable from sky box to bedroom and also a HDMI cable
Yes there is the simple option of an RF cable, but that will still require me use something like a magic eye link cable to change the channel from the bedroom, so figured that the Wireless AV receiver would be the best route & with less mess.
