Micheal Caine has come out on the Tory side..
a big hitter in the showbiz world.
Carol Vorders is doing some projects with
the Tories too.....
... wonder what celebs Labour are going to
get on their side ?

I this celeb trend catches on ... politics could
be one huge battle between the TV celebs...
as they all divide up into camps
Brucie agains Simon Cowell
Sam Fox against Katie Price
.... the possibilities are endless !

And then at the end of it there could be a phone in vote to decide the winner.

Michael Cain proved he didn't even know what year it is any more, but at least they can fall back on Ken Barlow.

I believe labour have David Tennant, J K Rowling, Patrick Stewart, Eddie Izzard and quite a few other people.

I think most will keep quiet. From a PR point of view, I don't think anyone would really want to be associated with any politician just now. Brown doesn't exactly have the pull that Blair did (and "13 years of failure" doesn't excite people like "things can only get better"). And it has never been particularly cool to back the Conservatives. Plus, if any celebrity did support the Tories or their policies, Brown would just say that they had been deceived.

We need some zany comedian to say "Let's bomb Iraq and kick away David Blunkett's stick!"
(That was for the older viewers...)

Not much of a joke as David Blunkett has a guide dog and isn't in the Cabinet any more. :D

At political rallies, instead of having the
leader up on stage with various grey suited polititians seated in a row behind him...
there could be ... Faith Brown, Cilla Black...
    Amanda Holden, Carol Vorders........

Im sure a lot more people would suddenly
take an interest in politics !

Yes there's a kind of default setting on most
celebs to back labour... its more politically
correct... they are really champagne socialists.

Gordon would probably get the backing of
85 or 90% of the top celebs..

The Beatles were photographed with Harold Wilson and his pipe..... cant remember them ever cosying up to Ten Heath !

Cameron might get one or two....Paul Daniels...
er..... Bruce Forsyth ? Andy Webber ?

Simon Cowell.....? no 10 to 1 he dresses on the left
