Dave my cat (lord of the manor) sat this morning pawing at the glass door out to the back garden. The cat flap was open, (where he can then get round to the back garden) but no he wanted his slave i.e me, to let him out the back door!
Two of our three cats have a strange ritual when drinking from their dish. They drink from the furthest point and not the nearest one. This means if they are drinking their cat's milk (not Cows) there will always be milk splashed over the edge. Alf will always dash about the hall after he has used the tray whilst Billie will sing to his toys in the middle of the night after he has taken all of them upstairs. Jenny will cry out untill one of us goes in to the hall so she can do her thing, she will roll about and play with the cat-nip bags (covered in Jenny drool) or will chase up the stairs to get ping pong balls that we loonies have to throw.

My vet told me the other day that the makers of cat milk are the cleverest marketers ever. It's made out of COWS MILK. Also, he said there are only 3 Cat food manufacturers and they own all the brands.
My cat Herbie likes to suck on his own front legs while he settles down for a nap or some attention. He'll suck on one leg until it becomes sodden then switch to the other leg and will carry on until he falls asleep. Found a video we took of him as a kitten doing it

Well yes, but its cows milk with a lot of the lactose removed and some scrummy vitamins added:)
As it goes my cat isn't bothered about it. However, if your cat does like milk but is lactose intolerant, then I don't think its too much of a rip-off as an occasional treat - like the occasional mature steak or single malt I occasionaly treat myself to:D

My cat was suffering from sickness, so I bought some Cat Milk, which I don't normally get. The vet told me not to give him it. I wouldn't mind some low lactose milk, maybe I'll have it.:D

Looks and smells a lot like evaporated milk to me, though I didn't taste it.
For those who like the idea of hearing Bill when he is singing to his toys. If it was in people talk it would sound like "ooooooOOOOOO". It starts with a low sound that gets quite high and full of sadness (it seems) and if I go out on the landing to watch him he stops and stairs at me as if I was the one making all the music.

One of mine does this to the mice he brings in. He lays looking at it (always under my bed) and talking to it!
Ahhh Lola's a lovely cat - I have a similar laundry basket but my cat steers clear of it as the lid doesn't fit well and it fell inwards scaring him when he fell in it after sitting on the top.
He used to play with a lot of toys when he was younger but then a little ball struck him on the nose so now he's a bit wary - he's a bit of a scaredy cat. One thing he likes doing though - he likes to duff up my floor mats, holds them in his front paws, then lies on his side and gives them a good kicking, then pulls them around the floor - he's crazy!

Of course, a cat wouldn't dream of being 'caught out' doing such a thing :D

Our Simba has a beanie leopard which he loves, I mean really loves, no other toy can compare.
A few times a day, he will walk around with it in his mouth making a long groaning meow Sometimes, he looks a bit too happy with it, if you get my drift
Then on other days, he will toss it in the air, catch it and do it again and again.
Best friends for life
I bought him a similar one from Amazon at Christmas, just in case his favourite one ever get damaged or lost...not interested at all!:D
With all the rain over the last 24 hours, they've developed a habit of poking their heads out of the cat flap (thus using the flap as a rain cover) to see if it has stopped raining or not.
They sit there for about 15 seconds deciding if it's safe or not to go out, before poking their heads back inside if the rain is too heavy. Its so funny, I got a video of Lola doing it.

My cat scoops his food out of his bowl 1 or 2 pellets at a time instead of putting his face in and eating them (has to have a prescribed dry food for medical reasons).
We can't put a glass of pepsi down in our house because the younger dog will drink it. She likes black current squash too. We don't let her drink it obviously but I do always laugh when I'm sitting with a drink and she shoves her snout in the glass.
When we were younger we used to share our ice lollies with the dogs. My Mum thought it was vile but when we were kids we didn't give a shit. A lick for us...one for the dogs. :D
EDIT MY older dog (13 last sunday) likes to sit in shopping bags, washing baskets and plant pots lol. The amount of times we have looked outside and she's sitting in my Mums newly planted flower pots.
When he was teeny the Beast would sit on me whilst I was in the bath. He would cryto be picked up, and be perfectly happy on the 'island' that was my belly and not bother that his tail was in the water.
I am not too particular about closing the loo door when I having a poo.
If he is about, the Beast will come in and sit between my legs, on my pants, looking up, purring at me.
To be honest it weirds me out a bit, one can't really enjoy a bog moment, reading Private Eye with a cat siting on your pants staring at you.
My cats latest thing is letting us stroke her (she doesn't like being picked up, so I mean she is on the floor standing up being stroked) she is purring away, loving the fuss, then she does an almighty flop down on the floor onto her side as if to offer her tummy, but always does it just out of our reach if we move to stroke her she gets up (see my earlier page 3 post !) then she looks at us as if to say "how rude stopping stroking me"

When I woke up this morning, guess who had his paws in my slippers again!

hahahaha, yes let's go with that theory instead of the one where I don't read titles properly.
:D
( apologies to cat fans).
