Is tonight the last night they have the bottom 2 singing for survival?
Sure it was last year and then they went straight to semi final or am I getting mixed up?
Thanks.

Agreed. If Chris doesn't go bottom two, they'll keep it in for as long as they possibly can to try and get him out.
I think if there is someone left in the competition after tonight who they don't want in the final, they'll spring another suprise semi-final sing-off.
That means that if there were to be a bottom two next week, only two acts would be called safe, effectively giving away the top two a week early. What's the point in that? Surely they wouldn't spoil the result? It's a bit different calling three safe, but two?
If Rylan goes tonight, they surely don't want Chris is in the final, considering Simon doesn't, so they may have another sing-off or make sure he ends up with the lowest votes.
X factor aus did a sing off with 4 left this year so who knows
Apparently (if you believe Mary's first story before she was 'corrected' by the x factor PR team!) two years ago the acts weren't told there was to be a sing off until the Sunday morning - after they saw the votes showing Mary was way ahead of Cher. Even Louis had told Irish radio that week there was no sing off.
Will be interesting to see if Dermot confirms its the end of the sing off tonight - or keeps it open (e.g. your votes will see your favourite 'safely through' being the line used 2 years ago);
So they can make up the rules as they go along - if Chris stays in and is 3rd out of 4 in the vote we may well have one next Sunday.
Just hope they tell the public there is a sing off before the votes open - rather than after they have closed!:D
Well two years ago they have a sing off in the last show before the final - it might be wrong in many ways but its perfectly possible for them to do it.
I just wish they would be upfront - and hopefully let people know before they vote not after.
