Best Death Scene in a Film
I've always been a fan of Rose McGowan as Tatum Riley's death in Scream. Death by cat flap is highly original. Also because the character is a fave of mine in the Scream franchise I always feel sad that she dies. This is so important in a horror/ slasher film , the audience needs to care about the characters. You need to want them to survive otherwise you have a situation like the later Freddy films where you're cheering on the villain. I loved that Tatum was feisty and fought back when Ghostface attacked her. I really appreciated the dialogue too in this scene such as this classic line 'Please don't kill me Mr Ghostface, I wanna be in the sequel'

Yes this one really lingers in the memory. Another good one.
I thought Myrtle in The Great Gatsby (2013) was excellent too.
I can't actually think of lots off the top of my head
Bonnie and Clyde going in a hail of bullets
Alan Rickman falling to his demise in Die Hard
James Cagney in White Heat
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
John Cassevetes in The Fury

Lola getting shot in Run, Lola, Run was jaw-dropping the first time I saw it.
All the deaths in Theatre of Blood, 1973.
also, by no means the best but one that didn't see coming was john travolta in Pulp Fiction.
