How is ereading on the Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1. Some review have said that 10 inch tablets are not good for reading ebooks and recommend the smaller 7 inch version. Are 10 inch tablets too big and how is it on the samsung galaxy tab 2 (both 7 and 10 inch versions)

I find reading on it perfectly fine although I should point out that I don't get eye strain/headaches from using a PC etc.
The Kindle app has options for changing text size so no problems with that. When I read in bed at night I change to the Black setting which has white writing and find it very easy to read, i'm sometimes reading for up to an hour.
During the day I use the sepia setting which has brown writing and again no problems. I could probably get away with just normal white during the day if I turned the brighness all the way down.
Never thought about it but can see why the smaller might be better for reading, definately easier for reading in bed.
Reading on an LCD screen for long periods. For some people including myself, reading on LCD screens for prolonged periods gives eye strain and therefore you may prefer to use a device with an eink display.
The second issue is that a 10 inch tablet will be quite heavy if you are holding it for a long time whilst reading. I have the Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 and it gets heavy after about 20 mins of holding it. I much prefer to read on my eink kindle, but if I do read on an LCD screen I prefer to use my nexus 7 or iPod touch as they are lighter and therefore more comfortable to hold.
