  There is next to no free space on Freeview for any more channels. Even if you did close down the adult channels.
  
  Those are time sharing slots with other channels so the space they occupy would only be available at the same time of day that they currently broadcast on. Hardly suitable for kids channels.

  There are 4 more music channels (via the red button) available if you have a connected Freeview HD box or Youview box that will soon be able to receive the Connected channels. You could always get a Youview box which will soon have most of the channels available on Sky built into the Freeview EPG provided via the internet and will also very soon be recordable. I am on the TalkTalk trial for this and I'm very impressed.

  I find it hard to believe in this day and age of the internet where any flavour of hard core porn is instantly available totally free, how these soft core adult channels on Freeview get any viewers at all.
