Why would it be any of those 3 other than Coldplay?
Because I've never heard of C. If the answer was A or B, why would they pick someone unknown for C? That's a good method of looking at some questions .... but it doesn't always work.
But the questions seemed to be mainly sport or pop culture tonight; I thought it was supposed to be general knowledge.
The really grating thing about this show, was when the two dimbos in the red area thought that an Asian country whose flag is a red disc on a white background was China.
Then when the answer is revealed as Japan, there is a collective "Aaaaaaahh" from the studio audience, as if it was a surprise, when in fact at least 99% of them must have known the stupid contestants had got it wrong.

Red disc on a white background, the flag of which nation
I cannot believe they managed to get that wrong
Me neither , anyone who got that wrong should go back to primary school. Stupid people annoy me any day of the week but that was a joke. And he is studying to be a teacher i just remembered , no wonder some children dont stand a chance in life if that idiot teaches them. How did he get into uni, Even my partner knew it

In most circumstances you'd be confusing knowledge with intelligence, and they're not the same at all. However, with multiple choice you can use logic plus knowledge of other things to discard answers, leaving the right one.
With the sports question (one of the many, anyway) I though hamilton was too old and daley too young for the date in the question. Leaving the third one, even if I've never heard of him.
This is often the case with history questions, where one answer is far too early, and the other too late.
This show has turned into 'This is Your Life".
I don't want to know the contestants life history.
Stop the waffle and get on with the questions argh!!!

True but in the moment i would say she didn't read it as that, also with that daft sod tweeting all the crap easy to just hear him pronounce it wrong
There are screens in front of the contestants sitting on Winners Row who can see both the question and the three possible answers.
