Can someone recommend a comedy for me?

I have a week off work now and am looking at watching a new comedy show. I love shows like American Office, modern family, entourage, curb your enthusiasm. Any advice is grateful to keep me smiling the next week. Thanks

30 rock is the only us comedy to have held my interest in the past decade or so.

If you like Parks&Rec and similar things, I suggest Community.

I'd agree with that based on your current favourites.

You may want to check out Saturday Night Live (SNL).

The Middle. It's a bit like Roseanne without the sarcasm. It's not going to push any boundaries but you do get some genuine laughs.

    With you there.

2 broke girls is at best 'watchable'

Thanks for the advice guys. I should have put on my original post that I love arrested development but forgot. So well done on recommending it, if I hadn't already seen it you would have been onto a winner. Some interesting other choices on the page, I will definitely try parks and recreations and look into the others. Thanks again.

Fat Actress. A very short lived Curb style comedy starring Kirsty Alley.

American Office - Parks & Rec is the obvious one but I'd also try Veep for the same office politics type stuff

modern family - maybe try The League, a little courser in the humour maybe but the same multi family type dynamic

curb your enthusiasm - try Californication, but be aware it has quite a bit of sex or Louie

I love Raising Hope as well and would also second 30 Rock.

Well it's hardly new now, but if you're a Curb fan, have you tried Seinfeld yet? It still hasn't aged a jot...
