How do you know you have a Nail Varnish problem?

I've just counted - I have 48 different nail varnishes, including 8 golds, 6 pinks, 5 reds, 5 blues, 5 silvers... they're all very slightly different, but I'm thinking maybe it's excessive? Should I be worried?

I suppose it depends if you are sniffing it or not.

I haven't even tried all of them. And I've had four different colours on since last weekend. My nails are bare right now, I'm trying to decide what colour to have next. I think I'm a lost cause!

Mine just have a clear coat on now as I'm undecided between the pink, the china glaze silver or the avon purple glittery one tonight.

I have a blue glittery one that is a nightmare to get off, I wonder if it is the same make!

Far too fiddly for me! Just a coat of varnish is enough for me:) You should share pics!

I've never used them before, and yes, they were fiddly. I'll take a photo tomorrow, once I've tidied up my cuticles.

Mine is by Avon. It's quite thick but does go on. The nightmare is removing it, as the glitter goes everywhere.

A little method I use for removing the difficult remnants of polish, is by using an old but clean toothbrush, dipped in the (remover) solution and gently working round the nail edge and cuticle area in a circular motion.

Still don't shift all of this glitter stuff though.

But glitter and me have a bit of a history, lol.

Looking closely this morning, I must have been too tired as there are still little bits of glitter around. So gonna get busy again, lol.

Putting an undercoat on before varnish makes it easier when removing. Pity I keep forgetting to use it lol :D

I do that all the time as I have a few of those vertical lines on mine. Even with a base coat and clear coat on top, before I apply the glitter stuff, it still seems to get everywhere, lol.

Have to remind myself to get some cotton wool balls next time i visit the pound store.

Hurrah! If everyone else buys (lots) more, I won't feel so bad.

Anyway, here is my silly pirate manicure. As if pirates would ever have time to do their nails!

My cuticles look awful! I swear it's the flash, I'm sure they don't look that awful in real life. Or maybe my eyesight's going.

yes i tried marbling a couple of weeks ago its fun an looks great but if u do it on natural nails it is extremely messy!!!
How about the shatter polishes like opi and china glaze?

Damn you, you made me count mine.
    171. Plus about 20 varieties of top coats.
Now tell me which of us has the problem???
But be advised, once upon a time I too only had 48...
