Just seen an ad for Maid In Manhattan on tv.....

Maid In Manhattan starring Ralph Fiennes, yes Ralph Fiennes!

Any more examples of embarrassing movies that stand out from an actors CV?

I was going to say the same thing for George Clooney for Batman and Robin - but I think you win!

Michael Caine - Jaws the Revenge!

When asked had he seen the film he apparently said:

"I have never seen it, but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific.”

    Al Pacino in Gigli?

Actually, I'll give it to De Niro. At least Pacino can claim he wasn't one of the leads ! :D

I always imagined Kevin Becan would hide his role in Friday the 13th part 3 under the carpet - but he seems to have embraced it with one of his recent EE ad !!!!

maybe he will soon have EE on this CV?!

Firstly, he's in the original Friday the 13th not part 3.
Secondly, i don't think it's that embarrassing anymore - in fact he seems rather cool with it now like you say.

The EE ad annoys me because the arrow head comes through his neck in the film not his chest as shown in the ad.....but i get why they've adjusted it.

This has always been one of my favourite movie quotes.
Makes me laugh every time I read it.

Daniel Day-Lewis in Nine and Nicole Kidman in Bewitched must be up there and while I don't think it's a bad film, The Holiday for Kate Winslet but I think she mentioned that she wanted to do a light film and this fitted the mould,

It would be interesting to see if Hugh Grant has kind words to say about The Lair Of The White Worm. More so given that several retrospective reviews of LOTTW agree that HG has basically 'played the same role ever since'! :D

This thread is kind of potentially interesting in a 'if they were still alive now and could re-activate their career' kind of way. What, for example, would Joan Bennett have to say about having been in Suspiria, as her last ever to date film role? Or Veronica Lake re the immortal Flesh Feast??? :D

I bet Johnny Depp isn't too proud of Private Resort (1985) on an otherwise strong CV.

Just remembered this one: Sylvester Stallone in The Zookeeper - what on earth was he thinking? On imdb, you have to actually click on full cast and crew to see his credit, presumably his way of trying to hide the fact he did it.

    Cher was in this too!

    An abominable film

Johnny Depp should be eternally proud of that, in that

    a) he looks actually human, albeit young

    and

    b) he has one the most fantastic arses I've ever seen on a man in it.

The current Johnny Depp is some kind of Michael-Jackson-style harlequin of more-than-slightly unnerving freakishness.

Bill Murray - Garfield, he kinda admitted that one in Zombie Land.

To be honest Ralph is kind of set up for life now being a main character in a massive franchise like Harry Potter and then moving to be semi-main character in the James Bond franchise.
