Espn's Future And What Will Replace It

Sorry if this has been mentioned before in a thread somewhere else I recall vaguely someone mentioning on Digital Spy that ESPN was liklely to close or due to losing out in recent bidding of Pay to view tv rights of English Premiership Games to Sky tv and BT.
If this was the case does anyone what will ESPN are they going to stay in business ?
Put on different sports content in its place or fold as a pay per tv channel in U.K?
If it folds what will replace on DTT /Top UP Tv in that slot Eurosport 2 or BT 1Sports pay per view channel ?
I was thinking of getting ESPN or its successor channel but would like to know what is going to happen here first of all .
