Not sure of a specific episode, but my favourite episodes would be a lot of the Halloween ones. Regular episodes I love the one when Homer and Mr Burns have to climb the mountain together.

Also the Rear Window spoof when Bart thinks Ned has killed Maud.

This has come up a few times, and whilst I'm not sure about my favourite favourite, I'd say Simpson Tide.

My favourite episodes are the cat bugler one, the one where Krusty pretends to die and the one where the family go to Itchy and Scratchy land! Love them.

    There are quite a few.

One of them is Who Shot Mr Burns

Who Shot Mr. Burns is a classic case of a fantastic episode let down by a ridiculous ending.

Duffless is one of my favourites, so quoteable. :D

Marge: Homey, I'd like you to do something for me.
    Homer: You name it.
Marge: I want you to give up beer for a month.
Homer: You got it. No deer for a month.
Marge: Did you say beer, or deer?
    Homer: .... Deer.

    :D

You Only Move Twice. There's a couple of episodes that I would consider at the same level but being a huge Bond fan just puts it over the top.

Couldn't honestly pick one favourite episode, but while the topic is on Simpsons I have to mention a line from last Sunday's episode which made me belly laugh in a way this show hasn't in ages:

Moe: "Four guys, a chick and a noose. Just like the movies I like to watch." :D

I don't know if it's because they were pushing the boundaries of what they can get away with in a family-friendly animation, but that one definitely caught me off guard!!!

We were totally shocked at what they actually showed Moe doing!

I stopped watching the programme religiously over 10 years ago and now only watch the odd episode occasionally, so I can't imagine how many "classic" episodes I've not seen!

Ha ha! Several quotes from The Simpsons still stick in my mind years later and I sometimes find myself randomly saying "Monorail" as Patty...or is it Selma...does during the song.
