I'm recording this, I hope it's not just the original programme with a 5min update stuck on the end!
sadly this was the case it was about last 10 minutes of new footage..
God that son is bloody irritating. You can see he is one of them people that has been mummycuddled his entire life and the end result is he is absolutely useless. The sister although was a bit of a bitch she had more idea on what needed to be done and it should be her from now on what helps drive the business forward.
I think alex didn't bond with them quite as much as she made out. When shes walking around with all of them in tow her eyes were saying a thousand words. Alex has a very expressional face and she says what she means thats what i love about her.
I got all excited as I love the HI and Alex...should have known it was just yet more repeats (a brief update doesn't count in terms of something being a new episode, imho - shame on any TV staff who think it does). Hope you enjoyed it anyway though, OP. It's a fun programme!
To advertise this as new was a joke 10 mins or so I'd estimate. I suggest a new category for listing mags etc, (MR) for Mostly Repeat for all these kinda programs.
Alex is pregnant so I assume she has chosen not to make anymore this year she has had three miscarriages so I think Hotel Inspector is not her priority right now.

As I have already said Alex is pregnant and has had some miscarriages so C5 probably wanted new ones but obviously they couldn't so have done these to keep the show in people's minds until a new series can be made they probably didn't want a big gap to be left the public is fickle.

They should not legally be allowed to do it. It is an insult (but what isn't in the fabulous world of Broadcasting now?).
I hadn't been aware Alex had suffered three miscarriages. How horribly sad. I hope she'll be okay and doesn't return to work until she's good and ready. Wishing her the best.
The Daily Mail article I found says she was 8 months pregnant in February. I can't find any saying she has given birth. I hope that doesn't mean she lost this child

Baby was due in March so I doubt she is still pregnant!
At least the guy showed bottle at the end, saying hands up this isnt me anymore, yes alex, i have told a few porkies, like she said at the end, she appreciates him more on her return, for him being so open.
If they're going to make a revisited series, I'd prefer to see Alex visit hotels that Ruth originally did - it'd at least be interesting to see how Alex's approach would differ to Ruth's at the same hotel.
Baby Rocco (keeping the family name going) has arrived safely judging by this article written by Polizzi last month in the Telegraph
ever since I returned from a week in Sicily with my husband, Marcus, our almost-five-year-old daughter, Olga, and our 13-week-old son, Rocco. We flew in and out of Palermo airport with Ryanair, travelling with six pieces of luggage if you count the travel bag for Rocco’s Bugaboo
Alex is back at the Walpole Hotel on this week's episode. Not sure if it's a repeat of the last revisit she did there or a new one.
ETA: Just found out that it's the one that was shown last year.

That's some trick if you can pull it off.
I googled earlier alex polizzi's twitter account and people are complaining about ch5 lying about it being new series.

I hadn't heard that Hope she's okay with this one

And somehow it's legal for the broadcasters to advertise it as a new episode. Unbelievable.
I do hope Alex is alright. It would be truly devastating if she's had another miscarriage.
Hadn't seen last night's before, blimey what a dump!
looked like it sould have been quite nice with a makeover too
More unsettling is the thought that its probably not that uncommon!
I remembered all the tits and bums in this one!

must be a very small hill then... it couldn't have got much lower.
Alex is bloody gawjus! anything that gets her on my screen is good as far as I'm concerned.
