IF these TV shows, provide cheap tv, the tv channels do not give a shit about viewing figures, just fill the time slots.. we will see more and more repeated rubbish on time and time again.. free view channel 11 is shit..ITV1 and 2 ... deal and no deal. should of gone years ago,

question, if we get rid of all these shows.. what do we replace them with????

By an amazing coincidence the programmes I don't like are stale and past it!

Most of everything on TV at the moment has been going far too long, CH4 and the BBC are the worst offenders.

But ITV is quite ruthless about axing old shows, other than their soaps of course and the old stalwart "You're Been Framed". "X-Factor" and "I'm a Celebrity.." have not quite gone off but nearly.

Channel 4 is possibly the worst offender. The Simpsons used to be hilarious in the nineties, now it's a creaking drag of a show that's beaten for ideas, same as I used to like Come Dine With Me, now it's as inane as Big Brother. Also who really gives a damn about Hollyoaks, which has the worst acting on earth.

These 3 show make me want to sell my TV set:

    Come Dine With Me

    Deal or No Deal

The Simpsons (please stop showing this every single day.

Yes these three shows are flogged to death by Channel 4 and are now totally boring.

If only you had watched the recent bullying/suicide storyline, you might not be so quick to write it off with views which are probably based on old stereotypes. It's beaten Emmerdale to an RTS nomination for Best Soap and Continuing Drama too.

Family Guy - The last three seasons or so have been awful.
The X Factor - The producer manipulation is making it much worse, rather than better.

If I am home I usually look at the last 10 minutes of Deal or no Deal.
It seems i am not alone in doing this.I read recently that lots of previously loyal viewers are fed up with it being dragged out.
I feel the same about anything Ant and Dec are in.
    It is all stage managed.
All those so called set ups are fake.....all of them.
    What about Youve Been Framed?
That was past its sell by date years ago.

My family were big viewers of Deal until about 6 months ago when they decided they'd had enough of fancy dress weeks, sob stories and Noel trying to be some kind of mystic guru. Also You've Been Framed, this should have been axed at least ten years ago.

Most of what has been said here bar the satirical shows are all very stale and tired. Not to say they should all be scrapped mind.

Slightly contradictory though, I find Question Time quite tired and repetitive now. The same type of audiences clapping over the same points, by the non politician guest week after week.

Dare I say it, and shoot me down, but I think, Coronation St has been past it for decades. The same dreary plots, theme music, cheap sets, wooden actors, and sheer overkill with episodes and pointless omnibuses, have made this a real chore since about 1990. The odd time I catch it, not out of choice, I think it should have been ditched years ago. Sadly, though, its paranoid fan base would probably riot if it was cancelled.

The Simpsons drop in quality is hardly Channel 4's fault. Sky still show it every day also, although they do show the later series. But saying that the later series are not a patch on the earlier ones.

Murder She Wrote and The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air both ended many moons ago but still get repeated over and over. They should have been laid to rest a long time ago!

coach trip - terrible show now - really horrendous

Coach Trip hasn't been on for about a year now. It's been axed. There was a new Christmas Coach Trip supposedly been filmed, but it wasn't shown last year.
