Great article here

I'm really looking forward to the "definitive" documentary about the series which is mentioned at the end of this article. It's a spin-off from the brilliant book Crystal Lake Memories.

Yeah I liked His Name Was Jason too.

I've yet to see the 4 hour Never Sleep Again but I've heard nothing but praise for it so if the upcoming Friday doc is up to that standard it should be great.

Also now that Warner owns the rights to all the Friday films we may get a full blu-ray boxset.

    Good read.

I like the remake a lot more than more people, mainly because it was starting fresh. Would like to see a sequel to it, especially the idea of it set in winter, but many seem to disagree.

Brilliant news, but rather typical considering i've just bought the first 3 on Blu Ray.

I'd actually welcome another Friday the 13th movie, i enjoyed the 2009 film and would love to see more teens getting their comeuppance at the hands of Jason. The Friday the 13th films have always been more "trashy" than the more serious horrors like Halloween and Texas Chainsaw, so while the recent attempts to reboot/sequelize those franchises turned out awful, i could quite happily just watch Jason hack teens to bits with minimal storyline (as macabre as that sounds...), hopefully Paramount get busy making a new one soon.

In my opinion the best Jason film was the one shot in 3d....
