Heck I am nearly fifty, and I think Tom and Jerry is still brilliant.
Apart from ones that are still around now I can only think of the one with the shrink and the one with the movie critic.
There seems to be as many or more these days. I'd also add Robot Chicken and those ones on FX/Bravo that they show in a block. Some of them are more animation rather than cartoon.
Do you have a link? I'd like to read his actual comments, in context.
Archer is in the wasteland on 5 USA at 2:25 am once a week.
Brickleberry was on Viva and very funny (the repeated the whole thing twice watched it twice loved that crazy little bear)
Crash Canyon also on Viva (not right now but it has been on) Funny and fun if a little repeative here and there but they stuck down a big hole so there is only so much that can be done.
Family Guy and American Dad are the only two more or less always on which is good because you need some cartoon fun sometimes.
I must admit having grown up with Tom & Jerry, the Loonie Tunes etc. I love me some cartoons but freeview does seem to be somewhat short on classics, everything more or less is on pay tv.
But there are a few highlights here and there for us true big kids:D
I've always prefered American cartoons though.
Maybe you shoud try Japenese Anime that is aimed at an older audience.
The [Adult Swim] site offers international streaming on most (or at least some) of it's original content.
