  What email service are you trying to send with?
  What happens when you try and send a message. Any error codes or messages?
  What are your current email settings (don't post your email address or password, obviously)?

  Some isp's have started making it so that you have to sign in to the server to send emails to help defeat spammers so you may need to check the send options
