And it looks like I'm the only one present...
Let's welcome the first act! It's our wildcard Wagner!
Wagner Carrilho - 'My Winners Song' by Geraldine McQueen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZplUPSiYpQA
Note: Wagner will play the bongos throughout the performance slowly at the pace of the song. At the last chorus he enters the balloon.
Staging: Wagner will be dressed as a white peacock throughout the performance with people doing ballet around him. At the climax of the song when he sings the "one night" note a choir of children walk out and sing. dressed in white suits and dresses and sing with him for the rest of the song. I then announce "Wagner" in a typical X Factor winner shout, to which Wagner's multi coloured gem encrusted peacock tail shoots and he begins peacocking. From there the dancers bow at his feet and one of them puts a crown on his head. At the end of the song when he sings "been waiting to sing for so long, my Winner's song" Wagner steps into the balloon and floats away.
Wagner
Wagner I loved your performance last week. The song suited you, and it still had the amazing, wacky scenery and staging. This week I feel was a major step down. I don`t think the song suited you very well, and it seemed very serious, while you are more fun. The vocals didn`t suit you whatsoever, and I may understand that because no-one sounds like you. I really loved the staging though, especially the peacock. I am very torn on the performance because I hated the song, but loved the staging. I wish you the best of luck Wagner!!!
Rick:
Wagner
Wagner, that was once again a very inventive staging. However, that's probably the only good thing I have to say about this performance. Unlike your previous performances, this did not suit you at all and was nowhere near as entertaining either. That's the problem, your performances need to be energetic and fun, otherwise it will be awful like this. Props to your mentor for taking the time to write a creative staging, but I fear that this show might be the end of the road for you.
Oh Wagner, what happened to you this week? I mean aside from the creativity and the staging combined, the song choice itself and the performance was absolutely D-U-L-L! What happened to the Wagner that I gave a chance on with you being fun and entertaining? I normally enjoy you but this week was your weakest performance to date. I have a feeling that you're gonna be in the bottom two tonight.
Next two performances tonight come from Daniel Pearce who has narrowly avoided being eliminated over the last week weeks and Jake Ellis who topped the votes last week? Let's welcome them to the stage!
Daniel Pearce - Somewhere In The World (Alityan Childs)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G69YWb28ekc
Jade Ellis - Could you be loved? (Leona Philippo) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBGMk46GcPo
Note: Ends at 2:03
Daniel Pearce
That was a lot better than last week's performance Daniel. This is the style you should have been doing from the start in my opinion, as this gives you a bit of an edge as well as allowing you to showcase your vocals. I'd like to see you continue in a similar vein, provided that you get through of course. In any case, well done to you and your mentor!
Jade Ellis
To be perfectly honest with you Jade, I'm on the fence about this performance. While I can see Leona Phillipo's vocals fitting yours in certain parts of the song, I think that this song was way too energetic for you. I mean, it was a nice deviation from what you've done in previous weeks, but it was simply too much. You had a very interesting RnB and soul direction going on, which was swept under the carpet this weeks. I understand that the theme was quite restrictive, but a cover or even something from the likes of Fantasia or Jordin Sparks would have been better for you in my opinion. Also, what was up with the rap?
Pingu's comments:
Daniel
Daniel you have been getting stick for the last two weeks. Repetitive, with no meaning. Tonight was a completely different story. You have really redeemed yourself in my eyes just by that one performance. The vocals were phenomenal, and you have just hit a chord with everyone at home and in the audience tonight. I had tears in my eyes, and truly believe you won`t land in the bottom tonight. It was slightly repetitive, but at least there is improvement!!!
Jade
JADE!!!!! That was just sensational. This was completely different to anything you have ever done before, and you have just turned a reggae classic into an RnB classic. It was upbeat, fun and just amazing. You were top of the vote last week, so I had to bring you back just as strong. You have come back stronger in my opinion, and all that is left to do, is for the public to vote for you. Please everyone vote for this amazing little human being who goes by the name Ellis. Jade Ellis!!!
Daniel, I believe that we are very lucky that you're even here after what the judges said last week, but I thank the public for the support. This week, we KNEW that we had to deliver big time and with this song, it gave us a path to go down as I've tried so many things to make you a contender. You were fantastic with the song and you said every word with meaning. But I want that to continue as I think we've finally found your direction. Great job, my man.
Jade Ellis
WOW! What an explosive performance! Taking ideas from Suzie's song last week, are we Pingu? Anyways, I tell you what, I was LOVING that song big time and slightly disagree with Rick about the rapping because that was something new! This is such a huge change of direction as this is something that I never thought you would do, but I wanna say that you should continue doing that! Just pure awesomeness tonight, Jade, keep it going!
Belle Amie - 'Maybe Tonight' by Kate DeAraugo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7mz01TeNeE
Australian Idol series 4 winner.
Geneva: I've been holding on, to a love gone wrong it's true, for too long
Esther: The hurt it left inside, has made me wanna hide too much and I do
Sophia: I'm not afraid to be alone; the truth is I'm alright
But something has been missing from my life
All: And maybe tonight
Maybe I'll fall
Maybe he'll crash through my walls
Maybe at last, love will come back, and take me deep into its arms
Maybe the heart that comes apart finally mends
Maybe tonight I'll finally fall in love again
Rebecca: Cried a lot of tears, faced a lot fears to get, right here
Every chapter ends, before the right one can begin again, in the story of love
All: And maybe tonight
Maybe I'll fall
Maybe he'll crash through my walls
Maybe at last, love will come back, and take me deep into its arms
Maybe the heart that comes apart finally mends
Maybe tonight I'll finally fall in love again
Rebecca + Sophia: I'm ready for another chance, and right now that's enough
Geneva + Esther: I know I will survive what ever comes
Rebecca: Maybe tonight
Maybe I'll fall
Maybe he'll crash through my walls
Esther: Maybe at last, love will come back, and take me deep into its arms
Geneva: Maybe the heart that comes apart will finally mend
All: Maybe this time, I'm gonna find love that never ends
(Maybe tonight) I'll finally fall in love again
(Maybe tonight) I'll finally fall in love again
Ooo yea, Maybe tonight, I'll finally fall in love, again
Jake just survived the bottom 2! Can he avoid the bottom two this week?

Rick's comment:
Belle Amie
Girls, that was just an amazing performance. You haven't sung a ballad like this before, which had to happen at one point or another. Having said that, this was an incredible to do it. While there weren't as many harmonies as I would have liked, this song allowed all of your voices to get some individual screen time. I really liked how you alternated fragile parts and powerful parts in this song, it was simply a joy to listen to. Well done girls, I hope the others liked this as much as I did!
Pingu's comment:
Belle Amie
Girls last week I was in love with you......this week I am even more in love with you. That performance was just beautiful, and I am in love with that song after that. I am surprised that isn`t your winner`s single because that would have won you the show if you were in the final, and I truly believe that. Girls you have blossomed more and more as the weeks have gone on, and that flower is going to grow even further because you are not leaving the competition tonight!!!
Jake:
No comments received due to last minute submission.
Girls, we finally get to hear you sing a ballad and yes, it was definitely worth the wait. I enjoy your upbeat performances but this was something different and I really enjoyed that terrific song choice. Despite the challenges, your mentor is doing fantastic with you four ladies, you all sung and brought in what I think was missing. Harmonies! Best performance so far, well done girls.
Jake Quickenden
A Eurovision song? That is the definition of taking a risk by your mentor. It's one thing to go for something unpredictable, but honestly, I was not expecting that one bit! Now, I saved you because I felt that you had more to give and you have proven me just right tonight. It was very good and a big improvement from last week. I don't see you leaving tonight, good job, Jake.
Next up it's Brad Shakleton & Diana Vickers, neither have really set the score board alight over the last few weeks, will they change that tonight? Let's find out:
Brad Shackleton - Time Of My Life (David Cook)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNQrMuL54aQ
Diana Vickers - I can be (Ida) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kJ5AmIKF-Q
Brad
Brad I really liked that. It was a slow ballad like song, and I love how the song got bigger and better as the song went on. I really loved your vocals, and you just stood out on that stage. I have said (I think) from the beginning that you are an underdog and I stick by this. I can see you reaching the final and more. We are only 3 weeks in and I think this. You went slightly lower in the rankings last week....but this week I think you will be rising.
Diana
Diana I have told you time and time again that you are my angel, and tonight you proved me and everyone else why you are. You have been criticized for being dull in the past. Tonight you were definitely not that. You sang a song with more of a beat to it, and the vocals were just sensational. It was inspirational, and I think everyone saw how amazing you are. Like the other of my girls, please pick up the phone and vote for Diana!!!!!
Rick's comments:
Brad Shackleton
This was quite an easy theme for you, considering there are quite some winners with voices similar to yours worldwide. David Cook is one of the more obvious ones, but I won't blame your mentor for picking him as it's a good fit and the theme was quite restrictive. Anyway, you had not done something like this prior to this, so this was a welcome change of pace. It's good to see some deviation as I expressed fears for you becoming repetitive last week. All in all, a good performance that should see you through to next week, well done!
Diana Vickers
I really like Ida (hint to Mix Factor judges, pick her ), and she also has that natural quirkiness that come with you Diana. Her style of singing is very unique though, and that didn't quite connect for me to be honest. I liked this performance better than last week's, but you still haven't managed to top your week 1 performance for me. We're in week 3 now, so you've had two chances to do that already. If you get through and we get an easier theme next week, I really want Pingu to pull all stops and make you deliver a standout performance as you'll need that to become a frontrunner.
Brad, finding a song for you was a HUGE pain since there aren't that many songs that favor your song, so we had to find something that came close. This was what we found and my goodness, you sang your heart out and you put your emotion in to each word of that song. For me, it's a big improvement and I really want you back here next week, because there's so much more we wanna do!
Diana Vickers
Well Diana, I really appreciate the risk your Mentor took with you this week, but I don't feel that it paid off with you. That's a great song but to be honest, I think that song would've suited Lucy far more better and that would've been perfect. Not a great performance this week, Diana and that's a little disappointing, I have a bad feeling that you're in trouble tonight.
Up next we have the Poisonous Twins who shot up the ranks to third last week and Suzie who suffered a massive fall from 1st in week 1. How will they fare tonight?
Poisonous Twin - 'What It Feels Like' by Siri Vølstad Jensen

Norwegian Idol series 7 winner.
Stephanie: On my feet but they don’t touch the ground
I rush through my body at the speed of sound
Sophie: Radio waves penetrate my skin
He lifts me up and he’s given me wings
Both: Oooh
Love can really mess you up
Is this what it feels like to fly
Just say to the sky
Is this what it feels like to fly
With arms open wide
When every stone I see is shining
Like a mirror to his eyes
Is this what it feels like to fly
Is this what it feels like
Is this what it feels like
Stephanie: We're out of reach but I'm almost there
No, we are used to belong somewhere
Sophie: When stars come alive in the darkest night
It’s the sign in the night, please my satellite
Both: Oooh
Love can really mess you up
Is this what it feels like to fly
Just say to the sky
Is this what it feels like to fly
With arms open wide
When every every stone I see is shining
Like a mirror to his eyes
Is this what it feels like to fly
Is this what it feels like
Is this what it feels like
Sophie: Always in that satellite, you and I
Got me shining so bright, magnified
Stephanie: When every heartbeat makes me feel like you have finally come alive
You know what I feels like
You know what I feels like
Both: Is this what it feels like to fly
Just say to the sky
Is this what it feels like to fly
With arms open wide
When every stone I see is shining light
Like a mirror to his eyes
Is this what it feels like to fly
Is this what it feels like
Is this what it feels like...
Suzie Furlonger - Distant Dreamer (Rebecca Ferguson) [Fanmade Studio Mix]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhWUeueVyEA
Poisonous Twin
I'm not going to lie, finding a song for you took absolutely ages. You girls have a quite uncommon tone, as well as not the best vocal abilities in the world. In the end, I settled on this song. While it may have strained your vocals a little, you absolutely blew the roof of! This was an epic performance, and also the first one I felt didn't really need a staging to stand out. I really hope I've managed to ditch your joke act label with this performance, I want people to see you as an actual group that's competing for the title. Well done girls, I thoroughly enjoyed this performance and sincerely hope the others did as well.
Suzie Furlonger
In what world did Rebecca Ferguson win a reality singing competition? Aside from violating the rules, I wasn't really feeling this performance from you Suzie. Rebecca's tone and style of singing are too unique to be replicated by others. It's such a shame, as you have been one of my favourites in this competition. Steve got it right with you the first two times, but terribly missed the mark the third time. It may be down to the theme, but it could also be that Steve is running out of ideas for you already. Anyway, I really think that you're going to be in trouble tonight unfortunately...
Pingu's comment:
Poisonous Twin
Girls.....Girls....Girls. What an amazing song choice from your mentor. You have really improved every week, and that has showed in the rankings. I could see that this was more about vocals, while still being fun, and you controlled the stage. This was more serious, and I love that you have not become a joke act in this competition. Outside my category, this is my favourite performance of the night!!!
Suzie
Firstly Suzie, I think your mentor broke the rules a bit because I was under the impression it had to be the winner of the competition. Secondly....I HATED IT!!! I am really sorry, but the vocals didn`t sound like you at all, and I don`t think you really got it, and you were struggling to keep up. The vocals weren`t the best, and the music overpowered. Suzie most acts have been getting better, but you haven`t. You were 1st on week 1, and now you have just been going downhill. I feel really mean to you Steve, but I think that is the worst song choice of the series. If you do go through to next week, please go back to what you did in week 1!!!
Well, seeing you two doing a Country/Rock song? Who would've thought it? I'm gonna have to disagree here, I really commend the risk taken here but I didn't feel that it connected with you as your style is more of a Pop/RnB combo and for me, this didn't quite fit. I wish you luck with the votes tonight, cause I think your fans should be worried for you.
Suzie Furlonger
Suzie, I really love giving you club songs and such but we had to change it due to the limits of the theme. I didn't wanna lose your sparkle though, so I found this version and it made me think of you and your voice. I knew I had to give this one to you and you certainly knocked it right out of the park. I love changing it up with you but we can only carry on doing that if you're here next week.
Our final two acts of the night come from the Girls and the Groups! District 3 have spent the last 2 weeks inside the top 5, while Lucy has been climbing week-on-week; will their successes continue?

X Factor UK series 9 winner.
Dan: I remember years ago
Someone told me I should take
Caution when it comes to love
I did, I did
Micky: And you were strong and I was not
My illusion, my mistake
I was careless, I forgot
I did
Greg: And now when all is done
There is nothing to say
You have gone and so effortlessly
You have won
You can go ahead tell them
All: Tell them all I know now
Shout it from the roof tops
Write it on the sky line
All we had is gone now
Tell them I was happy
And my heart is broken
All my scars are open
Tell them what I hoped would be
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible
Micky: Falling out of love is hard
Falling for betrayal is worse
Broken trust and broken hearts
I know, I know
Dan: Thinking all you need is there
Building faith on love and words
Empty promises will wear
I know, I know
Greg: And now when all is gone
There is nothing to say
And if you're done with embarrassing me
On your own you can go ahead tell them
All: Tell them all I know now
Shout it from the roof tops
Write it on the sky line
All we had is gone now
Tell them I was happy
And my heart is broken
All my scars are open
Tell them what I hoped would be
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible!
Ooh impossible (yeah yeah)
Micky: I remember years ago
Someone told me I should take
Caution when it comes to love
I did
All: Tell them all I know now
Shout it from the roof tops
Write it on the sky line
All we had is gone now
Tell them I was happy
And my heart is broken
All my scars are open
Tell them what I hoped would be
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible
Micky: I remember years ago
Dan: Someone told me I should take
Micky: Caution when it comes to love
Greg: I did...
Lucy Spraggan
Again, you're a contestant the theme did no favours to. The acoustic style fitted you, but I was missing the 'Spraggan Effect' again. Especially after last week's amazing performance, this was a huge letdown in my opinion. I totally blame the theme for that, as your mentor has proven to be quite capable with finding good songs for you. However, it wasn't nearly as good this week, and I fear that you too might be in trouble tonight. If you get through, I want your mentor to pull it out of the box again next week. For now, good luck!
District 3
Boys, what a way to close the show! This was easily one of the better performances of the night. Amazing vocals from the three of you, along with incredible harmonies once again. After a second and a fourth place, it could be said that you are well on your way to becoming frontrunners in this competition. This performance was no different, a very impressive one at that considering the restrictive theme. Acoustic is definitely one of your strong points, but you've shown you're more than capable of doing different things as well. Amazing job guys, I hope to see you here next week!
Pingu's comments:
Lucy
LUCY my little guitar queen. You just smashed that song Lucy. This was a very hard theme in my opinion but you ate it and went back for seconds. You were incredible, and you had the audience on their toes. Your vocals were lovely, but once again you told a story like last week, and you are just lovely Lucy. I just want you for so many more weeks, and I hope the public vote for you because you deserve to be here next week!!!
District 3
Boys that was a great end to the show. Not my favourite of the night but it was still great. Your vocals were amazing, and I won`t even start on your harmonizes. They were just.....there are no words. They are the best vocals I have ever heard from you, and I don`t think you or any of the groups are leaving tonight. Great close to the show boys!!!
Lucy, as I was saying earlier about Diana, you would've been a perfect match with that other song compared to this one. But anyways, I enjoyed that song and I liked the rendition you made there, but I still feel that your mentor missed a perfect opportunity with you this week. I hope you get another chance to do much better, cause I'm worried for you tonight.
District3
Boys, I've gotta say it...you are right back to where you were on Show 1. The choice and the cover did show a tiny shred of predictability, but at the same time, it was definitely a HUGE improvement from last week and I really loved that song and the performance. You cannot go wrong with the harmonies either. A really terrific way to close the show, boys. Nicely done.

Also who the hell chose that song for Wagner
Looks like I'm gonna lose Suzie this week...it's been fun anyways.
Well if Brad gets to the final, I might.
Aside from my own incredible category, my favourites were probably Brad and Daniel.
Also, I'm REALLY disappointed in Suzie, she had SO much potential. Why Steve, WHY?
