Favourite Sophie Ellis-Bextor single

Looking at Girls Aloud thread just then, I kinda thought of Sophie Ellis Bextor in my head. She released some great songs and they still sound good now. Her latest album (Make a Scene) didn't do so well, but she released it from her own label, so reaching Top 40 isn't too bad. She also did quite a lot of featured vocals as well.

So, what are your favourite Sophie Ellis-Bextor songs?

My Top 5:

1. Music Gets The Best Of Me (my personal favourite)
2. Catch You
3. Take Me Home
4. Me and My Imagination
5. Get Over You

Also, My Top 3 with Sophie as featured artist:

1. Groovejet (with Spiller)
2. F*&k with You (Rock With You in some edits) (with Bob Sinclar and Gilbere Forte)
3. Not Giving Up On Love (with Armin Van Burren)

Get over you. I quite like Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Shame she's faded a lot over the last 5 or so years.

Probably Take Me Home. I love the beat. All of her early singles were brilliant though. Catch You is also incredibly catchy.

    In no particular order the ones i like;

    Groovejet
    I Won't Change You
    Bittersweet
    Take Me Home
    Not Giving Up On Love

I think she's very underrated and has had more success than she's credited for

I used to like Sophie Ellis-Bextor a lot when I was a lot younger and was just getting into pop music. I've only recently relistened to some of her stuff (I've been listening to a lot of synth/electropop lately) and I'm surprised at how well a lot of her singles still stand up today.

    Favourites:

    1. Murder on the Dancefloor
    2. Heartbreak (Make Me a Dancer)
    3. Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)
    4. Catch You
    5. Get Over You

It was. I have the Murder on the Dancefloor CD single with that song on it. I also remember a B-side called Live It Up. Wasn't that the B-side to Get Over You?

    Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)
    Get Over You
    Murder on the Dancefloor

All three were great songs and really catchy. I didn't even realise she was the singer of "Get Over You" until I listened to some of her stuff more recently. I loved that song when I was younger.

    Also love Groovejet :)

I love Sophie, Read My Lips was the first album I bought and she was my childhood crush, I had so many dreams about meeting her as an 8/9 year old :)

Hope her old sound is rediscovered soon! I wasn't the biggest fan of Bittersweet etc :o
