I saw him about a year ago in Bournemouth. Didn't know a lot about him, other than a quick crash-course on Spotify, but I was mightily impressed with him. Oozes charisma, and what a voice! He channels the spirit of Billy McKenzie, I think.
I enjoy his later music, but I can't fully get into him, because I knew him slightly when he was about 14, and he was an annoying, precious little (or very tall) weenie!
I love Patrick Wolf and have done for many years but I'm not overly keen on Sundark and Riverlight, it just seems like a lot of the tracks have been diluted and I don't know what Bermondsey Street is doing on there in Time of My Life's place. I've done a track by track review if anyone is interested:

His last album was very good, however.

Got tickets to see him on March 23rd next year (my 3rd time seeing him). Can't wait!
