In another episode I saw, they showed you what happened if the winner gambled and played on (I think). Don't they always do that?

Nooooooo. I didn't know that either, but for comedy purposes, it was bound to be Gaylord. :(

Are the questions geared to who can possibly win. ?
This might have been for Rylan, like all the arse questions could have been for Ricky Tomlinson if he had gone further ?

Shame he didn't win the £20k, but I say kudos to him for giving to an animal charity. Not many people do, too busy giving to other causes, despite the fact that its people that cause them to be in need of charity donations in the first place:mad::(.

Yes! We demand to know what would've happened.

They only do that if the counter was really close and likely to fall, as they do it in the normal version too. That counter obviously didn't have a chance of falling so they didn't bother showing what happened.

At last. An intelligent player. He could see that he was never going to get the bonus counter over the tipping point so he went for cash a tried a different drop zone. Walked away just short of £3k.

I think if he'd been braver and gone for 3 counters on the questions he might have done the jackpot TBH ;)

I find this idiotic show totally addictive. Do the contestants come from some kind of sheltered accommodation?

In all fairness, the contestants on this show aren't particularly thick compared to that new quiz show on ITV.

What, the guy when asked the type of animal seen at a gymkhana replied elephants?

Or the lay preacher who didn't know the Methusalah question?

    Toecurlingly embarrassing.

Yes it is. A contestant on Perfection who is at University reading Biology didn't know which part of the body Pulmonary refered to. She said the heart. It is of course the lungs.
I suspect the auditon process gets rid of anyone who is knowledgable.

It surprised me when she knew that Addis Ababa was the capital of Ethiopia so I was sure that she'd know the capital of Texas. But she didn't.
