I thought the usual practice was that if people say that they aren't in it it means that they are? Therefore when John Barrowman said that he was in it before he wasn't, but now he is. Err, I think?
I can't see it. How strange, so he is telling some people in the interweb that he's not in it but not others... This adds a whole new level of confusion!

The link doesn't work as-is, to the side of 'Tweets' you have to select 'All' rather than 'No replies'.
That's quite a shame, as Jack is one of my favourite characters from Doctor Who. I've got all 4 series of TW on DVD too, and they get watched a lot. I watch TW on 'Watch' a lot too, when they are on. I saw the series 2 story 'Adam' the other night.
I think he should be in the November special, as it was Moffat that introduced Jack to Dr Who, during Eccleston's Dr's era, with a WWII story.
I quite like Captain Jack Harkness, so if he's in the 50th Anniversary episode all well and good, but if he isn't it's no big deal as far as I'm concerned.
The episode is supposed to be a celebration of the last 50 years, not just the last 8, so I think AT LEAST ONE of the following should be given priority over John Barrowman:-
Carole Anne Ford
William Russell
Peter Purves
Anneke Wills
Frazer Hines
Wendy Padbury
Katy Manning
Louise Jameson
Lalla Ward
Sarah Sutton
Janet Fielding
Mark Strickson
Nicola Bryant
Sophie Aldred
Daphne Ashbrook
I think Jack would be better in a standalone story, as I think he'd be a bit overshadowed by the Anniversary special. I really want to see him again, but in a story where he can properly interact with The Doctor.

He's always been a bit too 'variety' for me. I expect him to start tap dancing at any moment.
Is he out due to the schedule slipping?
Or, is he covering for the fact he's in it?
Let the usual speculation begin...
Doesn't mean he's in the 50th, obviously, and it'll be a shame if he's not.
Noel Clarke certainly did. Can't remember if Barrowman did as well...
Erm, where's the tweet saying that he's not in it anyway? Am I missing something?
It's probably disappeared off the page by now, from all the newer tweets.
Does this mean he's definitely in it then?
Interesting - he's taken the tweets off but there were over 500 retweets. I wonder if he's been told off again!!
Two hours ago: "I will not be involved in the 50th Anniversary Episode of Dr WHO. JB"
I can still see it.
Back with mine again. Seems to disappear if refreshed.

Timey wimey?!:D

Oops, thanks for instructing me into how to use twitter properly. I can see the tweet now I'll crawl back into my hole
It's fine, not being a Twitter user myself I too was confused for a minute about why the alleged tweet wasn't there.
