Baker Street is certainly something that will never age and is always good to hear. At the time I think I thought the song was connected to Sherlock Holmes!

    Definitely a late replacement routine.

I like this one. It's as cheesy as a mouse's banquet, but I can't help it.

I thought they weren't showing Dave Lee Travis.

Smashy and Nicey were Blackburn and Diddy Hamilton all the way.
With a bit of Alan Freeman thrown in...

I like the simple and direct but finely crafted honesty of 70s ballads.

    Bob Marley

Don't like any of his music at all.

Missing out on one of the very greatest music people.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Legs and Co really can't dance! My daughter just summed it up by saying the choreography is like you'd do if you were making a dance up in reception class!

One track that the famed orchestra at least can't make a hash of :D

This is a great song for radio, and Dan has a great face for radio too...

Nice voice and song, shocking hair! Looks like the girl from Crystal Tips and Alistair after a trim and a dye job.

Slightly unfortunate middle eight though - makes me think of the Kevin Whateley /Stella Gonet drama "Trip Trap".

If anyone is interested on the background to Baker Street, the programme I heard is still on i-player. Here's the link:

The Real Thing wasn't the best start but every song since then has been great:

    Hmmm.

Buffalo Soldier is one of those songs I really hate with a passion.

Earth, Wind And Fire - Fantasy: Good track! :)

He reminded me a bit of Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull, looks wise anyway.

Earth Wind and Fire were great. I only caught up with them in the mid 80s when I heard their 'The Collection' album.
