Likewise, it is better if you don't try and defend your employer, a company that has put hundreds of other businesses to the wall, by mentioning how charitable they are when the companies you slag off are also extremely charitable.
i've always been baffled as to why BT Broadband has the largest number of subscribers in this country. Loads of cheaper providers out there, so dont people just shop around and save?

Correct but when I went to re-new my Infinity to include the unlimited downloads they offered me £18 for 12 months.
Out of the blue, they offered me Infinity 2 (Unlimited) for £13.25 a month. 57/20 Mbps. And it rocks.
Yet again you choose to slag off a service you have never had or experienced.

So Bt just phoned you up and said here have this service for £13.25 a month? I know they been doing offers where you get so many months free, and then you go back to full price.
I can not see where I slagged Bt off in that last post to be honest, you just reading things that are not there.
I still stand by that the majority of people would not get those prices. I do know of someone who was on the lowest price ADSL and Bt got in touch and lowered the price even further at the end of the contract because it was not used that much.
As for saying I have never used Bt, I have used them twice, on ADSL, once when ADSL first started around here in 2000 as I was on dial up at the time and again about 3-4 years back. Granted I have not been on their FTTC service, but my brother is and him and his wife seems to be happy with it.

How is making calls at the evening and weekend where you are not charged for the call not free? There is a chargeable uewp but on some deals BT will give it at the basic of cost of line rental. I struggle to see how that isn't free.

£10.00 a month last year and £10.75 this year for me, you just have to pay a year up front, which is no problem at all with interest rates at half a percent! Damned good investment in fact, albeit that I'm unhappy about the 7.5% rise when inflation's less than 3%. Sky did it too, grrr.
