Although I really don't ever want to see the Rani back again, ever, I would make an exception if she could really be played by Rupert Everett. That is such brilliant casting!!!

Great thread - happily chuckling away here to the bemusement of the rest of my family.

    Dr Who ..... Sylvester McCoy
    Ace .... Sophie Aldred
    The Valeyard .... Michael Jayston

The Doctor awakes, after what appears to have been an interminable coma, where he discovers that he did not regenerate in 1996, and that he did not move from the sublime to the ridiculous from 2005, under the pathetic guise of Russel T Davies.

The Doctor, aided by Ace, now survives within a Virtual World, controlled by The Valeyard, ever intent on destroying the Doctor in order to claim his prize, and future regenarations. With Ace in the Real World, and the Doctor in a Virtual World, can Ace overcome the inevitable and return The Doc to his rightful place in the Multiverse.
