If the Tardis will just open for them anyway? Like in yesterday's episode, Clara just pulled on the handles and begged the Tardis to open and eventually it did. She doesn't have a key.
I always thought it was a big deal whenever a companion was first given their key, because it was the only way they could get into the Tardis themselves.
What does everyone else think?

I agree. Why would Clara think she wouldn't need a key?
It normally doesn't let them in.. It normal doesn't fly itself.. It normal never talks to anyone either, not even the doctor. There is something different about Clara in regards to the tardis.
Like in the Rings episode it didn't open because she wasn't helping the Doctor, this time she was.
Well could be she's the TARDIS' daughter seeded through time when the TARDIS exploded
I'm sure River was the Child of the TARDIS
