I think it starts in September. Looking at his website, I don't there'd be a clash, but I doubt he'd be interested in Strictly or Strictly in him. Perhaps it's a wind up, or maybe there's another Michael Clark. Or the OP's confusing him with Michael Ball ....;)

1 attractive woman (not to everyone's liking) to make the old man look good and stop him falling down the stairs.
An equal number of male and female professional dancers.
1 older male celeb and 1 older female celeb to avoid accusations of ageism, plus a selection of Z-list celebs hoping to revive their careers and a sprinkling of sportspeople to partner the professional dancers.
Dave Arch and his orchestra.
A couple of whippers-up to encourage the audience to behave like a screaming mob.
In other words, a winning recipe for a Saturday night.
So the replacement during Bruno's absence has to be a male judge.

He isn't a mystery man. Michael Clark is a Scottish dancer and choreographer. His picture is easily found by googling. I could post a link, but if I found him so can anyone else.
I saw him and his company in 1984 at the RNCM in Manchester. Totally gorgeous and gifted chap who used to dance with various part of his anatomy on show, lol!
