Hi i seen this ford focus in a garage and the guy said he will put a new mot on the car as its about to run out.

its a ford focus 1998 but we noticed on the last mot it has an advisory fuel pump corrosion. i think the guy said its some rust around the fuel pump.

is this serious.

    Are you sure it isn't fuel FILTER corrosion?

    You could insist that it gets replaced or you won't buy the car.

    the guy said its the fuel pipe.

    it may not pass due to that advisory maybe 12 months or more on

    just get them to do it, or buy another car

    loads and loads of focus for sale

    Get an AA/RAC/independent inspection as well.
