Of course for MP3 files but no for WMA, a Microsoft product. As far as I recall iTunes can automatically convert non-protected WMA files to say AAC or MP3. Options for the protected WMA files will end up hurting quality from encoding or recording something that is already compressed.
a friend can get me one for 60 euro later today.
im not on itunes so jus thought id make sure then .
what video formats does it hav
.avi?
iv nevr had an ipod before so im a newbie with these
not without converting them. here is a page containing the formats it uses for video: http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/specs.html
You mention it's 60gb but the touch only comes in 8,16 and 32gb sizes. The only 60gb iPods aren't even current and will be an old model.
Or was it simply a typo and you meant 16gb?
i ment im geting it for
60euro
and its a 16gb model.
jus cant wait to get it nnow really!
You can probably answer a lot of your own questions by just going to the website:

60 Euros seems daft cheap - are you sure it's legit?
i very much doubt it will suit you.
Sure then it goes wrong and Apple won't repair it.
probly not but 60euro HELL! i aint gonna say no
I'm probably wrong but I think the only way you can communicate with the touch is via itunes, so you will probably have to install itunes. You obviously dont need the store though (but will want it eventually so you can get apps for free)
The touch doesnt show up as a device in windows like an external drive or such.
If you're getting them where I think you are getting them, I'd ask to try it out first, the uncle was telling me, that his mate got one on the cheap, some lad out in santry must've got em off the back of a truck, too bad they were all bust, and prob on their way to Cork to be fixed.
If you're getting it off a mate grand, but if its a clock and dagger sorta affair, give it a bash before buying it
Well thats easy, you just un jailbreak it if you have a problem.
As for me, i use iDealshare VideoGo which has both Mac and Windows version. It can fast and batch convert WMA to other popular audio format or convert almost all kinds of video or audio formats to WMA audio format.
Strange he recommends some software you have to pay for as well
Obviously some crazy coincidence
