Songs that sound festive that are not about Christmas

I can think of some songs that sound festive but are not about Christmas. They will have been hits around Christmastime and felt festive. Some examples I can think of are:

Paul McCartney/ Wings :- Mull of Kintyre http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5626WzsfMw&feature=fvst
Hot Chocolate:- I'll Put You Together Again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DjiDuLhHpA
Fiddler's Dram:- Daytrip to Bangor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMNrrLBdhuM
Snowmen:- Hokey Kokey http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMfN_fh7mSE
Cliff Richard:- Please Don't Fall in Love http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHOm3FLeZ4A
Toydolls:- Nellie the Elephant http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1F3Uhrj9YVI
Level 42:- Leaving Me Now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnJOgGWMMTU
East 17:- Stay Another Day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNm9rDeTT8E

Of these, Hokey Kokey and Nellie the Elephant sound festive in a dodgy Christmas party sort of way!:D

I might mention some more recent ones nearer the time. If you can think of other festive-sounding songs feel free to profile them here.

'Dance With Me Tonight' sounds very Xmasy, imo. It sounds like it could be in a Christmas film. :D (like Home Alone)

S Club 7 - Never Had a Dream Come True
Jennifer Lopez - All I Have
    Spice Girls - 2 Become 1
S Club Juniors - Puppy Love (Christmasy video, song not about christmas however)
Girls Aloud - See The Day

Most of these songs were released near Xmas and feature snow in the video so that's probobaly why

One of my all time favourite songs.

I've always thought "Always Have, Always Will" by Ace of Base sounded christmassy.

Rihanna's Man Down always sound Christmassy to me and I can hear The Edge Of Glory with a sleighbell mix, if I could remix I would have done it by now.

The obvious one is JLS's new song, surprised it hasn't been a bigger hit.

That's because it samples an Xmas song ;)

I always think of Madonna's Dear Jessie as a festive song. Possibly because it was a hit around Christmas time.

I'm sure Jona Lewie's 'Stop the Cavalry' wasn't meant to be a Christmas song.

These ones I agree with. I've never heard All I Have. I'd also add Westlife's (or Coverlife :D) cover of I Have A Dream.

    Blondie - Maria
Released in the spring of 1999 and had Christmas bells ringing in it! Didn't stop it hitting number one.

correct, it was an anti-war (nuclear arms race, polaris, trident, cruise missiles were controversial at the time). the crimbo bit was almost an afterthought, a lament by the soldier that he'd 'rather be at home for christmas'...

'fairytale of new york' isnt a crimbo song, its a song that mentions crimbo instead of being about crimbo, just like 'stop the cavalry' and 'stay another day'.

Tears for Fears originally, but your probably thinking of the Gary Jules version.

Evergreen Terrace did a good cover as well.

Agree with a lot from above, Dear Jessie definitely, another I'd add is Cry Me Out by Pixie Lott

Totally agree. I used to play the No Parlez album to death and I always feel really Christmassy when I hear that track as it was Christmas Eve 1983 that I met Mr Mack.

    First verse:-

    It's coming on Christmas
    They're cutting down trees
    They're putting up reindeer
And singing songs of joy and peace
Oh I wish I had a river I could skate away on
