The X Factor’s spectacular Live Shows continue tonight with the finalists once again lining up to perform in front of the live studio audience and millions of viewers at home.

This week the finalists will be celebrating the best of The X Factor, from the most memorable performances on the show, to hit singles released by past contestants.

There will also be a special performance from platinum selling artist and X Factors’ very own heartthrob Olly Murs.

The remaining contestants will battle it out to win over the public and this week the two contestants who poll the lowest in the viewers’ vote will face the dreaded sing-off on Sunday night.

Ever popular Dermot O'Leary presides over proceedings while judges and mentors Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger take their seats behind the judges’ desk to battle it out with their contestants. Louis has the Boys, Sharon the Overs, Gary the Groups and Nicole the Girls.

Tonight sees another heart-breaking elimination.

Following last night's breath-taking performances, the finalists who have scored the lowest in the public vote must face each other in the sing-off. Fighting for survival they must sing to try and secure their place in the competition as one act must leave tonight.

Throughout the Live Shows an outstanding line-up of guest stars will perform.

This week the remaining acts will collaborate with chart topping JLS and there will be exclusive performances from legendary diva Mary J Blige and X Factor’s own global phenomenon One Direction, who will be performing their brand new single ‘Story of my Life’.

at least they are allowing them to choose from performances on the show as well, the choices out of successful songs from ex-contestants wouldn't exactly be too exciting

Great idea for a theme night. Someone suggested it on here the other week - wonder if the producers have been reading the forum? ;)

Tamera would also be good at - Wings by Little Mix, Do you think of me by Misha B or Broken Heels by Alexandra Burke.

I really want to see her doing uptempo. I do wonder if the producers wanted to leave giving her an uptempo song until later in the competition to really highlight her potential, however I think she needs to do one very soon

    I want them to sing:

    Hannah: Little Mix - Wings
Tamera: Alexandra Burke - Bad Boys
Abi: One Direction - Little Things

Rough Copy: Olly Murs - Troublemaker
Sam Bailey: Leona Lewis - Happy

Nicholas: Union J - Carry You
Sam C: JLS - Beat Again
Luke: Rebecca Ferguson - Nothing's Real But Love

Although I'd love it if someone did a Cher Lloyd song :D

Hopefully Hannah will be gone by then as I can just imagine her shouting her way through an Alexandra Burke song & then balling her eyes out afterwards, like an Oscar winning performance for a dramatic scene, I swear that the girl is more flaky than the pastry on the sausage rolls she sells.

Finally! An interesting theme. They did this on Swedish Idol a few weeks ago (admitteldy, the Swedish Idol alumni have a far deeper collective catalogue) and it was a fantastic week.

Here's what I'd give each of them:

Abi- What Makes You Beautiful (Boyce Avenue cover of One Direction)
Hannah- Nothings Real But Love (Rebecca Ferguson)
    Tamera- Wings (Little Mix)

Luke- Loving You (Matt Cardle & Melanie C)
    Nicolas- No Promises (Shayne Ward)
Sam Callahan- Dear Darlin' (Olly Murs)

Rough Copy- Bleeding Love (Leona Lewis)

Sam- The Silence (Alexandra Burke- big potential for another moment here)

Dreadful theme imo. Has the potential not just to be karaoke, but meta-karoake.
