I dunno, I just thought he looks as if he's had cosmetic work done as many men do in their 30s, especially if they have a TV face and feel conscious of aging in front of cameras, which he may (or may not) feel. He's 36.

Fillers, botox, that stretched look, guys get it too so that's an option.

I'm not saying there's an actual resemblance, but something about his facial features reminds me of Sylvester Stallone, for some reason.

Which makes me wonder if he's using some kind of steroids or HGH; that would tie in with the muscle thing too.

Sad that some people with body dysmorphia end up becoming the thing they fear.

no, the implication is that he has HIV (not Aids) and that he has lipodystrophy in the face, a side effect of HIV drugs (at least it was years ago, not now). The fillers are the attempt to correct it. And the people drawing that conclusion know the signs well, as do I. I'd put money on them being right.

Right. I'm certainly not implying that he's gay therefore AIDS but he does have the appearance of someone as described above.

And, you know, that's fine if it's true and fine if it's not. Doesn't really change my opinion of the man. He seems like a nice guy.

He does seem nice. That's the overriding impression you get, kind, nice guy.

I actually think his face looks fine - I think he is handsome. It's just that his hair style is not working for him - change the hair to something that actually suits and see what a difference it would make.

Yep. I don't think there's anything the matter with his face. Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks this.

Sculptra was developed specifically for that very purpose I believe.

I do recognise that look but it could also be from knocking on a bit and having really low bodyfat.

Yep. Those saying he seems like a nice guy...urm no. He is an idiot and doesn't give a damn about the well-being of those that appear on his shows or watch them. I am mainly referring to Supersize Vs Superskinny, which many sufferers of eating disorders have objected to and challenged him about, but he is a complete arse in response. I have had my own twitter spat with him in the past regarding the inaccurate info that show has given regarding the difference between type one and type two diabetes. He is a very unpleasant man.

Regardless of what you might think of him as a person.. there will be an entire team of people working on that show and i'm sure he isn't the only medical opinion they have or consult with. It's not as if he's inviting the people round to his house and dishing out advice. And while S vs S may be an extreme example of two forms of eating disorder the general advice, ie, under weight should eat more, over weight should eat less sounds generally sound to me. Obviously with some people there are underlining issues that need addressing along side that. I don't think they ever suggest it's a cure for all people.

There is possibly another reason his face looks like it does, but it probably isn't fair to speculate about that!

That wouldn't just affect the face though would it ? And he's often shirtless in mags and on tv and the body doesn't show the signs you suggest ? .I think it's over use of fillers .
He seems like a kind man so it's sad to see a once handsome man run his face .

possibly though his face has had that look since he first appeared on TV in 2007 when he was only 30.

But I am specifically talking about how he responds to people with concerns about the show on twitter, people that are triggered by or find problems with it. He doesn't give a damn and can be totally obnoxious.

I had a huge row with him and one of the others about an Item they did on the show. He seems under this impression he's a specialist in EVERYTHING. the Item they did was so Generic and left out loads of stuff it was nothing more than basic information on the NHS choices Website. When I pointed out the illness mentioned had much more serious strains (I have one) he basically rubbished the idea. Yep that's the reason I live in Wales but hospitals in London because its such a simple condition
and when a doctor retires I have hell on earth finding another
the guys arrogance level is off the scale.
