Does anyone hate this vacuous and often inappropriate crap in the middle of the film/show you're trying to watch? I'd understand if it was shown on ITV2 or in the middle of one ITV1's celebrity crap, but why put it on Itv3 & 4? I was watching "The Pianist" last night and lo and behold, some daft bint pops up blathering on about some Z-list reality no-mark:mad: I was atching "Casino" on ITV4 and again some bird comes on, wittering about something called "Our Re-Re"!

My solution is not to watch films on TV, there is no respect shown by the broadcasters to the viewer.

The reason they do it is likely down to advertising, I think they have a commercial break either side of the "celebrity news programme". It's just to cram in more adverts.

I rather watch the BBC Three 60 seconds :D .... but I totally understand the viewpoint here ... if its a 60 sec roundup made for ITV2 then keep it on ITV2 no need spreading it on ITV3/4 (by the way I barely watch ITV2 i'm more of an ITV3 person :D ) (and I am 29! LOL)

Who are these slavering morons who feel they must be kept up to date with Showbiz "news"? Is it imperative that they get a bulletin telling them what some ex TOWIE bint is up to that day? Will their lives be enriched by such immediate and obviously important news?

^ And, in addition to all that, do they really need to show a few (no more than 5) Tweets along the bottom?

Eugh. Even BBC 3, which has it's own fair share of celebrity/reality programming tat, have a 60 second news round up of... actual news.

I haven't seen it yet on other ITV channels but it did exist previously on ITV 2 and was always rubbish and inappropriately placed then.

Keep it to ITV2, it's perfect for that channel. It shouldn't be spread to the other ITV channels.

I've never seen a thread where so many people agree...don't cheapen the feel of ITV3 showing this nonsense. Doesn't really belong on ITV4 either.:o
