I saw Cilla having a go at a sales assistant in Harrods back in 1999, barked at her for daring to look her in the eye, swore a few times and called the girl a wage **** or words to that effect, black is a vile miserable git, no wonder her Bobby allegedly strayed during the marriage.

Can this thoroughly vile woman sink any lower?

Lokking at your 3 posts since 2009 :D I wonder are you related to Our Cilla? Or one of her management team perhaps? :D:D

I must admit I thought they same thing;) What have the cabin crew got to lose by outing her as a nightmare passenger? She's hardly A-List these days and hasn't been since about 1998, and it's not just the cabin crew she's been vile to either, so why single them out? Shop assistants, work men, ordinary members of the public, anyone who she deems lower than herself basically. With most celebs you hear good and bad stories, but Cilla its ALWAYS bad!

Wasn't it the plane cabin crew's thread that reported Cilla didn't speak to the staff, but her personal assistant would say to the staff, 'Ms Black will have this. Ms Black would like that, etc'?

I know Cilla has a home in Barbados and having flown several times myself BA Gatwick Barbados I tend to agree with her. The cabin staff tend to be a bunch of rude horrible old trouts. The only complaint I ever made officially was about the rudeness of the cabin staff on this flight.

But Cilla seems to be rude to everyone.

I don't think the cabin crew who've served her and found her unpleasant can all be wrong.

I think the fact that Ms Black will not speak to the cabin crew directly says a lot in itself about how she treats other people. It's not as if she's royalty

Im sure you are right, but slightly in her defense I found that flight, done it 8 times, to be horrible. Its one of the plum routes for cabin staff and the oldest long serving cabin crew get it. They rush you through your meal etc and as its dark for much of the flight they dissapear off to sleep never to be seen again. I was travelling with a child and they were very unhelpful old grumpy bags.:(:D

I was just travelling cattle class tho:D
Im surprised cabin staff still have jobs if they freely discuss their first class passengers in a derogatory way.

Perhaps Our Cilla was in first class on the same flight and was making them grumpy? ;):D

If they do it anonymously, nobody's going to know who they are anyway, it's just a screen name on a forum, just like here. It's not as if they're doing it under their real name on Facebook.

    Poor you!

I would have thought that fish shops would be 'common' in Queen Cilla's book. I'm surprised she lowered herself to enter one! ;)

Burt Bacharach gave her a darn good thrashing by making her do about 30 takes of 'Alfie'
Makes young wonder what the first one sounded like

OK - One thing strikes me here................I don't see any posts from anyone who has actualy met Cilla themselves. They all appear to be from people who have heard from a "distant cousin of their Grandma's dentist" or "read it in the Daily Mail" - well we all know how credible that particular rag is!

Well, I HAVE met Cilla on several occasions over the years and I know that she always spends time after shows etc and chats and signs autographs for the many people who want them. She always thanks people for waiting - and even if that's all part of an act, it's something she doesn't HAVE to do - it's something she CHOOSES to do. She does take an interest in her fans and anyone who attended the Liverpool or Aylesbury pantos in recent years will know how popular they were and will have seen the crowds who waited outside the stage door every night. No one was sent away disappointed to my knowledge.

One example of Cilla's "not so nasty" side involves a friend who came over from Australia to see Cilla in Panto. She met Cilla and chatted several times, Cilla being really touched that someone had travelled so far to see her. A few months later my friend was taken seriously ill and at one stage it seemed as though she might not recover or would have severe disabilities. When Cilla found out about that, she took the trouble to send a personal note and signed photos wishing her well. Happily my friend is recovering now, but that doesn't sound like the actions of a "nasty vile individual" to me!

So..... if you're going to "have a go" - at least make it on the basis of factual information and your personal experiences, and not the second or third hand gossip from obscure contacts or "BA Cabin Crew", because we all know how bitchy and venomous they can be! There's good and bad in all professions and I have witnessed first hand just how rude, offhand and toffee nosed some cabin crew can be. On the other hand, some have been totally helpful, caring and charming.

Live and let live.....speak as you find.......but don't just jump on the bandwagon because someone else is "having a go"!

Hi Cilla!!! Or should I say, Ms Black. :D:D:D

You do not have the right to speak directly to her. Communicate through her PA, please.

Cilla is a Professional Scouser and backs it up by living somewere gritty, tough and Scouse, namely Denham in Buckinghamshire (Denham Golf Club even has it's own rail station!).

Cilla once said that "Margaret Thatcher put the Great into Great Britain".

I've never met the woman, but those two things say enough for me.

Paul O'Grady annoys me with regard to Our Cilla.

When he was just becoming well known, he said he hated her - her politics and everything about her - but when he reached the top, he's off on nights out with her and generally being her GBF. He's such a socialist and she's such a bloody old tory I wonder how they manage to get on.

    ETA - interview from 2009.
    Q. Next year will be your 50th anniversary in the business. Any plans?

    A. Well, if God spares me…. Both ITV and BBC are in talks. But I don’t sing any more. I went to a 60s party last night, with Savage. There was a tribute band, and the singer came over and asked would I like to go up, they know all my stuff. I said No, I don’t do it any more. I don’t even sing in the shower these days…

'In talks' eh? Probably thought better of it with her poor reputation. :D

I'm sure when he's off for a free stay in Barbados chez Cilla and drinking her finest champagne, all principles and ideals go out of the window

Yet 'poor' Cilla claims she was 'tricked' into openly supporting the Tories and has no idea how she became linked with backing them

Jimmy Tarbuck is another "professional scouser". Some years go his Wiki page was hacked into and someone wrote something along the lines of" Tarby is professional scouser who only ever comes to the city when he has something to sell".

You can say what you like about Sir Paul, but he still cares a lot about his home city. He keeps a home nearby, founded LIPA and pumps a lot of money into it.
