The first person I thought of was the guy who Walked The Line. Troubled soul anyways because of his brother.
I know him best for playing Commodus.

I was thinking Mr Titanic, Catch him if you can - but he's a bit young for alzheimers unless it's early onset:confused:

Blind says Oscar winner. Neither of these two have one.

It says winner/nominee so I thought it meant either a winner or a nominee as surely all winners are nominees

ETA it mentions sleeping with women and getting them to do the work but not mentioned an A list actress girlfriend so probab;y not him anyway.

    He Is Going Downhill Fast

This actor is A list and always will be. If he lives for 50 more years and never makes another movie he would be A list. Academy Award winner/nominee? Absolutely. A list name recognition? Definitely. Strangest actor around right now? Oh yeah. Our actor rarely showers. The only time he showers is when he is making a movie and then only every few days. He has turned into the laziest person in the world. Meals are brought to him. Many different meals that he takes a bite from each. He is not a glutton. Weight gain is not an issue. Sex? Umm, he is not doing the work but he calls over women who are willing to do the work for him. That is of course if they can get over the smell of a guy who has not showered in a week and has food all over his clothes or drinks. He loves to drink. Like a fish.

Then he likes to get up and do scenes from his performances and makes the people in the room watch. He gets confused and mixes up lines from different roles and refuses to do a couple of the roles and gets very angry if people ask. He is a very angry guy and will throw things and yell and scream and the name calling is out of control. Ditto with any kind of slur that he can think of. He then forgets he did it or pretends he does not remember and returns to normal a few hours later. It is probably Alzheimer's or the beginning stages of it but he refuses to go to a doctor.

    Mr Smith springs to mind

She's not named after two separate states (eg first name then second name). There are two states that have the same name, but slightly different (see below), and one part of her name is that.

I thought of her to start with, but obviously completely misunderstood the clue, and the responses so far, and then got even more confused! But I should have stuck with my instincts (by the way, I only know the name - I've no idea who she is or what she does!)

'Michael Corleone' is the 'red guess' (i.e. an almost definite guess) on the agc blind items website.

Smith and titanic might well have hygiene issues but this is clearly not them. Michael Corleone is a better guess but given he's still making film including playing King Lear it seems unlikely.

Yikes. I don't think it's Dirty Harry. Don't know why just a hunch. The Joker is very quiet these days too as is the Sundance Kid. One person worries me is Henry Jones Jr. His public appearances of late have been rather odd and he's certainly busy making films at the moment having been in semi-retirement. Only thing is he hasn't won an Oscar. But he HAS been nominated. Hard to believe this is anyone under 60s if they think it's probably Alzheimer's.

I think his latest theatre performance has been trashed by the critics. However if he was suffering from Alzheimer's could he really carry on doing theatre work anyway?

The blind doesn't say that he isn't making films anymore presently just if he lives another 50 years and never makes another movie so there isn't any reason why it can't be him

I meant more that someone with Alzheimer's would struggle to be able to make a film. The director et al would notice and re cast pretty quick.

The suggestion in the blind is that he is still making films. Michael Corleone does sound like a good fit actually.

I think they mean winner of at least one oscar and nominee for at least one other implying it's an actor who has received lots of critical praise. Of the current grandees, only two don't appear to be in a long term relationship and so could acceptably have a string of women sent over - Scarface and the Joker. The big difference though is the Joker has style and likes to go out on the town. Scarface has a lower clubbing profile which suggests he may spend more time at home and so could have women shipped in.

    From Blind Gossip:

    He's Really Into Twinkies

It's too bad that Hostess is going out of business, because this funny actor is really into Twinkies. Although he has done tons of films and television shows, this actor is best known for his role on a successful sitcom that ended a few years ago. Despite the success of that show, he keeps working. In fact, he has a starring role in more than one project next year. Like many Hollywood actors , he has been married and dated beautiful women.

Those are all for show. He is actually into boys. He likes them young (Although not underage) and small in stature and hairless. Basically he likes twinks who look the exact opposite of him. He spends a good amount of his time and money on young rent boys in Hollywood.

Tallahesse from Z-land? He likes Twinkies, was in a sitcom, has a film out next year...

The Joker hasn't been active in about 3 years. I get the feeling this is someone who is still pretty active. To be honest the guy sounds like an alcoholic I'm afraid.
