Playboy One Preview (Sky 912)

While surfing during the day I came upon this channel and I think they were showing scenes that break Ofcom guidelines for unencrypted daytime viewing.
I am not complaining just they shouldn't get away with it when other channels have to follow the rules or face hefty fines or licence removed.

    What were they showing?

Breasts with nipple, sex scenes that left little to the imagination, and an explicit voiceover. The point is this was midday on an unencrypted channel that is available on a normal Sky package.
Channels like Babeworld or Turn On TV during the day have a live interactive phone in with girls dressed saucily or not.
If Playboy One is allowed to get away with stronger stuff albeit short promos then we should let others push the boundaries.

breasts with nipples? are there any other type of breasts then?

did it show female genitalia or errect male genitalia?

Yes ok nipples and couples having sex but no penis or virgina.
Bu if this was seen on any other channel at 3:00pm all hell would break loose. This was not some "educational" item on This Morning.

Who really cares, if that what it wants to show then so be it and I couldn't care less what time of day it is.

Seeing as this channel is FTA I think you may be getting mixed up with another channel.

Yes, it's FTA and a pointless channel too. Seeing as other channels in the rest of Europe show more 24/7 a day, and easily receivable I don't see any problems.

    No, not easy really.

But then I use the TV Guide or S&S banner to see what's on, not scroll through each channel one by one using channel up / down button, in the 8 years of having a Sky Digital system I've only used channel up/down a handful of times, I simply use the search and scan banner or TV Guide to see what's on and switch over.

I saw the one where the girls were sat in pseudo office environment in business shirt and tie with stocking and bra showing. I almost thought it was a real office but on closer inspection I realised that the computers were not plugged in.

While im here. Has anybody else thought about phoning one of these late night girls and try and get her to do something really embarrasing and then put it on youtube or something with the phone conversation dubbed over it. I think Tammy would be the best candidate for a wind up (Tammy is the one that always wears the weird collars and has a permanent comedy voice). I have a free mobile sim card somewhere with some free credit on it, its worth a go. :D

I love how, when they have "Hospital Reception" during the day,Turn On TV have a notice trailing across the screen saying "Nurses are for entertainment purposes only. If You have genuine medical concerns please consult your G.P."!!

I guess some people care more about the innocence of children than others.
What a sleazy little world you must be living in.

Kids are either too young to even be interested in it, or at that age when it's going to do no harm.

I have no interest in this rubbish, or any of the waste of money porn channels, so I certainly don't live in a sleazy world, maybe because you worry about it too much you have sleazy thoughts.

Now if you were to sit a little one down and force them to watch these channels, then that is a sick sad world someone is living in, as our kids have been brought up to respect their bodies and know what is right and wrong, they wouldn't bother with the channels, more interested in kids TV, though when the boys become teenagers then maybe their interest would change for a while.

When we all go swimming we use communal changing rooms so each others bodies is not an issue to them, seeing these crappy channels for a few seconds in inadvertently isn't going to have any affect, as said above they'd just switch to a kids channel.

Maybe they should put a pin on the channel during the day so small minded people don't get offended. Be careful not to open the Sun newspaper at page 3 tomorrow it might give you a heart attack :D

Afer reading this post I thought I'd have a quick look myself and was surprised to see this on television (even on an adult channel which is FTA in this country in mid afternoon).

The only other time I've seen (none educational) female nipple on tv at this time was once many years ago when I was watching a UK Living.

So, what are the specifics about what can/can't be shown and times etc. Anyone have a link to a decent website with details or could anyone post here as i'm curious. I had assumed this was after 9pm kind of thing ... obviously I was wrong.

There is no total ban on nudity during the day, providing it is in a non-erotic context, how that quite works on Playboy One I don't know
