    and also
    this

    and this

Actually though, since mention of Theo Pathitis (sp?) I can just imagine Louis in the Den telling all the Dragons about his plans.

Impressive research as usual :D I did like how the second article describes him as a "business angel"... the dragon's would love that :D

I thought GIno and his wife were a bit harsh on the scoring front tonight

Blimey, they all trashed today's place! Although I'm not totally suprised, the breakfast looked ok but the rooms didn't look worth £98 a night. Today's hosts (the man in particular), will no doubt be seeking instant revenge and do like wise for the next 2 days. They'll be fireworks on Friday!! :D

Todays B&B was no where near worth £98 a night imo

I go to quite a few and definitely agree. Taking into account its location, I would probably expect to pay about 80 quid. I am betting some of the other guests might feel the same.

    He's not is he.
He might have spent close to a million, but it doesn't look as though much of that went on the rooms.
They did look quite basic and old fashioned to me.

    I had to Google him
    http://www.kenhillsphantomoftheopera.co.uk/cast/reginaldmarsh.php

I can see what you mean, but I still think it's actually Louis who seems familiar to me, rather than a lookalike.

    I think they were.
I particularly disliked one of Gino's remarks about accepting being 'beaten' by a man, but never by a woman.

The latest thing that's getting to me is 'bedgate'

Louis doesn't understand how there could be a hair in the bed when there are fresh sheets on it ... he's a stranger to linen and housekeeping then.

    And the mattress thing.
We had a complaint about a dip in the mattress at Blackpool last week - rebuffed by the guys saying that it was actually a new one and orthopedic spec at that.
Today we saw demonstrations of them and yet apparently none of the other contestants know anything about anything and especially not about quality

    Slate gate! :p

I absolutely agree! But it's looking now as though Gino is as much of an a*se as Louis is! Imagine moaning because there was an extra cup in the room!

I agree with hoppy that Gino looks like an older Richard E Grant, and Louis is very much like a contestant who appeared on CDWM I just can't think when the particular episode was on that I'm thinking of. No doubt it will be repeated soon enough...,

    I

It's actually more the length that is the problem. I'd take one of my own towels, but it wouldn't fit in my suitcase.

Does this remind anyone of Louis? Its Ron Cook, who plays Mr Crabb, the accountant in Mr Selfridge.

Its really annoying me who he reminds me of.......

wasn't paying much attention but if you mean chauvinist Gino he reminds me of creepy "expert" on C4 Hoarder Next Door

    *shudder*

    The men are both chauvinists.

Yes, he would certainly notice the difference between them then, wouldn't he?

Probably wouldn't get that far, you only need a slight breeze from an open door and...whoosh, he's off...

Exactly what Mr MB and I were saying. Look out Cornwall!! Is it just me or does Louis remind anyone else of 'Blackpool's Best Kept Secret'?:D

At some time during your day at work, you have picked up somebody elses spectacles. Ring around your colleagues, one of them is struggling to read the instructions on her packet of hash browns.:p

I wouldn't go digging so much, but it's really bugging me as to where I've seen him before (see below)

The scores did, but I think it was off the back of his feedback and comments at The Windmill, they all have Louis pegged out as someone who'd offer perfection.

Sorry BG, not doing it for me, especially not the BoaF actor.

    You will get there.

Can't figure why he spent a million quid on the place. How long would it take to recuperate that sort of money from a hotel in Wales?

He should have taken the cash and enjoyed it.:)

I had a little chuckle when I read the hotel's reply to the latest review in the 'terrible' category (dated 13 March 2012). The reviewer said ''Travelled with family''.

The hotel goes into detail on how they dealt with his complaints including that they emailed him at the address given querying the early departure of him and his partner and his spouse replied saying she'd never been to the hotel.

Is that an Oops! do you think?

Gosh they were harsh tonight ( been on +1 as usual)I have to say the furniture looks basic..cheap looking pine..how much better investment in keeping with the age of the hotel to me would be Victorian/Edwardian brown furniture in good nick. Not a cluttered look but more appropriate and actually very reasonable to get hold of price-wise because it's unfashionable ...at the moment..
Yes he comes across/is/is edited to appear pompous does Louis but it seems unfair to get quite as many knives out . But hey we don't know what goes on beyond what screened.

For £98 in Port Madog I'd expect a lot more than was apparent.
Liked the comment that Louis was very good at looking busy but actually did very little:D Thats the essence of management, my dear, but don't worry your pretty little head about that;)
