The iPhone's touch screen has a much faster response time than its Android and Windows counterparts, according to a new set of TouchMark benchmarks from cloud streaming company Agawi.
Using a 240fps high frame rate camera along with a custom-built device called a Touchscope, Agawi measured the App Response Time (ART) of several different smartphones. The ART is the latency experienced between the time a user touches the device display to the device’s on-screen response.

It's not really anything to do with the response time of the touch screen itself. How quickly you get on screen feedback from a touch is dependant on many things. Partly the overall speed of the device itself, how much free RAM, whether it's busy doing other tasks, OS efficiency in waking up from low power states etc. etc.
...and also the electrical characteristics of what is touching the screen. From stylii to fingers and factors like skin conductivity, air humidity etc.
The tests seem pretty pointless unless the OP is contending that iPhone users have shorter reaction times.
(There is also the point that some groups have criticised the iPhone for the small difference in time between a tap and a tap and hold. That is that the screen is too responsive for people with motor difficulties or slower reaction times)
That's the main reason I have struggled to cope with Android. The handsets I've used are much less responsive. I hated touch screens at first and the iphone was the only one I felt comfortable with after moving from keyboard phones.
So when you do it it's not trolling then? ooooookkkkkk
Still twice as fast.
Jesus. Android has the touch delay baked in to prevent the device responding to false actions like the complaints about iOS and double tapping.
A false touch is still a false touch
I have heard somewhere that Jesus had the touch too.:D
