Incidently, still can't believe Big Mo is the wonderfully talented Gary Oldman's sister. She does have this brash cockney accent yet he remains an individual in his own right. I wonder how much of her accent is forced?

Jackie Woodburne has a Northern Irish twang that she covers with her Aussie accent on Neighbours.

Rhiannon Fish on Home & Away is really Canadian.

Lisa Gormley is originally from Yorkshire.

Sue Nicholls (Audrey) is very well spoken in real life.

She certainly is, and also she's a titled lady.

And Alison King put on the horrible common voice Carla has as Alison is very nicely spoken

I wondered what her real voice was like so I made a point of listening to her speaking at the recent Awards, I think it was TV Awards. She sounded just as dreadful as Carla, maybe she was in character. :D

Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox) certainly doesn't have a Yorkshire accent when she is interviewed.

I think she talks lovely but nothing can be as bad a Carlas.
Check out a clip of the dream team on YouTube that's her real voice

I suppose it depends on what you consider to be "talks lovely". To my ears she speaks very badly.

Jordan Smith (Andrew in Neighbours) is Scottish so puts on his Australian accent, but I think he's stopped bothering because it's terrible...

Hmmm, well most of this is a load of rubbish.

Jordan was born in Scotland but emigrated to Oz as a teenager, hence his hybrid accent (which he actually tones down for the show, so that the Australian audience can understand better).

So, no 'putting on an accent' here whatsoever.

They also changed Andrew's back story to say he had lived in Scotland for awhile, to explain the Scottish in his accent.

But as if Australians wouldn't be able to understand a Scottish accent. Jimmy Barnes does allright.

Plus Andrew is supposed to have grown up in Scotland, so Jordan's accent is right for Andrew anyway.

She's an 'Honourable' rather than a lady.
