Russell Brand's Give it Up Gig for Comic Relief, BBC3 10pm, 6 Mar

Russell Brand hosts a star-studded music and comedy gig with Emeli Sande, Jake Bugg, Jessie J, Kasabian, Nicole Scherzinger, Noel Gallagher, Paloma Faith and Rizzle Kicks performing live and comedy from the likes of Doc Brown, Eddie Izzard, Jason Manford, Jimmy Carr, Noel Fielding and Simon Amstell. Proceeds from the event will be used by Comic Relief to help support people affected by drug and alcohol addiction.

With all the names involved in this they should have did it live and made a big deal out of it instead of putting it on bbc3 at 10pm. I didn't even know it was on.

I read the DM write up and was amused by the Catholic joke and his 'she told me she was on the pill' joke about the Duchess.
