Does anyone remember a brilliant, but quite obscure, british film from the sixties called What A Carve Up. It starred Sid James, Kenneth Connor and a very menacing Donald Pleasance.

I thought it was a very good film and due to the first scene I always have to watch it while I'm eating fish and chips.:D

Yes, it's a good little movie, used to be on TV all the time, though it hasn't been shown for years (decades?), and it's actually the meta-basis for Jonathan Coe's novel of the same name, worth checking out!

Yes I think the last time I remember it being on was early 90's, luckily I've just got it on DVD. I have read the novel as well.
