Any news on a tour dvd? I bought I Am Yours and I Am recently.
I think it'll be November time, so just before Christmas. I can't wait to see what footage we see on the DVD, whether it'll be like I Am and feature different shows or just one. Also which songs feature, what with there being virtually two set lists over the tour.
Just been announced that she's doing a joint tour with Jay Z. 20 stadium dates in the U.S and then onto Europe in September. Dissapointed we probably won't be getting another single from the album, but then again she released the album the way she did with all the videos so that people could cherry pick songs. So it's done it's job.
Jay-z and Bey doing a tour? Wouldn't it be epic if they did all their collaborations together?
03'Bonnie & Clyde - Jay Z - The Blueprint 2
2. crazy in love - Bey - Dangerously In Love
3. This is how you like it - Bey- Dangerously in love
4. Hollywood - Jay - Kingdom Come
5 Déjà Vu - Bey - BDay
6. Upgrade You - Bey - BDay
7. Lift Off - Jay - King Of Thrones
8. Drunk In Love-,bey - Beyonce
9. Part 2 (on the run) - Jay - Magna Carter
10. Tom Ford - jay - Magna carter
Do they've 10 offical collabs and two unofficial ones as Beyonce is uncredited on these two
11. Pray - Jay- American Gangsta
12. Venus Vs Mars - Jay - The Blueprint 3
It would be great to see them take a look back at the last 11 years of collaborating together. and then sing 5 or 6 of their individual hits each.
i would imagine 'grown woman'; 'pretty hurts' will be released at some point
I doubt Grown Woman will be. The song was around almost a year be bore the album was released and it was available online in full months before the album. Would've pointless to release it. If there's another single then I think it will be Pretty Hurts, but I don't think there will be anymore. I think she's using touring to promote the album. She doesn't see bothered about singles this era.
Nobody has posted in here for a while. It looks like she's gearing up for the relelase of the Mrs Carter Toru DVD, as each week on HBO they're showing a performance from the tour. So far we've had Run The World, Haunted, Flawless, Blow and Drunk In Love.
Beyonce has NAILED it.... DIsney did a wise decision getting Beyonce to curate the production of the songs for the film (without her and Childish Gambino there would be no soundtrack for this film!) .... look at what they are doing with Mulan...eek!
Anyway incredible production, wonderful Swahili cultural rhythms and chants, those vocals...... WOAH i am not ready for the use in the film... truly truly....bring it on!
I like the song too. She didn't curate the soundtrack though. I think Hans Zimmer produced it. She produced the extra album, The Gift.
On another note, I can't believe no one had posted in this thread for 5 years.
Yeah i know Zimmer produced and scored the soundtrack but Beyonce apparently curated it and that there would be no songs (a la Jungle Book) were it not her influence on Disney so thats a pretty mean feat.
And yes surprises me how huge Lemonade was and nohing in here!? it was the biggest album of 2016!
Either way needed a boost... and hopefully after Lion King takes off she will release another album...
Personally i would adore if she did a Disco influenced album something very different.
Wow, yet again Beyonce has nailed it... and enitre album and work of art as a tie into the film and also as a studio album and story told... fantastic beautiful music.
Glastonbury airing over the weekend repeate her amazing 2011 setlist and lots of Beyonce songs have re-entered the charts...amazing to see.... Must admit i do misss her huge anthems/power songs... I mean i still fantasise her doing a electrofunk/synthpop/neo soul fused album like Sweet Dreams esque .....but she's inspired and going back over her heritage and roots a lot lately.
Speaking of which she's only gone and directed a movie...Black is King for Disney Plus coming end of the month..... very intriguing teaser for it...looks like a Black Panther meets Lion King meets man Who Fell To Earth type story.....looking forward to it.

Is it worth buying the re-release?
