  Confused to what you want? Do you want the songs to be played in a random order or in the order they were added to the iPod?

  First, make sure the selector is switched to continuous play mode, not shuffle mode, then click the play/pause button three times quickly - this should play the first track, followed by tracks as they show in iTunes.
