What is your perfect album?
Mine is Neil Young's HARVEST.
Every single song on 'Harvest' is masterful. Honestly, not a single note is wasted anywhere.
"Heart of gold" remains Young's masterpiece.
Gentle yet rough, simple yet intricate, immediately likeable but with much to gain from every listen; this is the benchmark and definition of what a classic actually is.
What is yours?:)

I have heard that be said so many times. I will have to take a listen.
Cheers for the heads up.;)
A perfect pop album, great on a hot summer's day, chilling with friends and a long cool drink.
It boasts
3 uk number one singles
A big ballad
A Spanish influenced track
Great videos to all the singles
Probably the most iconic photo M ever had taken used as the album cover picture
And it's her best selling album to date and made her a global megastar.
I had this album on release on cassette.
Another album to catch up with one day.;)
I play it at least once a week even after all these years. Not a filler track to be found.
Bliss
I absolutely love every single track, each one is better than the last. I think it is just the perfect balance. I would say possibly Hurts - Happiness as well.
It's quite difficult to describe, it sort of falls into various genres - minimalist, chamber music, a hint of electronic, film score. If you want the full force of the music, look out for tracks 'Sarajevo', 'Last Days', 'November'
BBC Music review called it:
"A 65-minute journey through the beauty and tragedy of 20th century Europe, Memoryhouse is like an immaculately observed postcard journal, albeit one informed more by imagination than documentary accuracy"

Frengers by Mew.
Boxer by The National.
Parallel Lines by Blondie.
Ten by Pearl Jam.
Black Sheep Boy by Okkervil River.
The Meadowlands by The Wrens.
I hated that album, every track was just yuk, didn't do anything for me at all..
However THE FAME for me was perfect so was Madonna's Hard Candy.
Electribe 101 - Electribal Memories
Tracy Chapman - Tracy Chapman
Amy Winehouse - Back to Black
All different, but all outstanding.
God bless you and him always!!!
Holly
P.S. I just pray that his next album is available soon because for me there will never be enough of him in my opinion James is that awesome.
Alanis Morrisette- Jagged Little Pill
Ellie Goulding- Halcyon
Katy Perry Teenage Dream
Rihanna- Rated R
I would suggest Angels and Airwaves 'I-Empire', every track is good and it seems a personal work.
I'd probably agree with at least 4 of those...
And that one!
Plus one from me: Third Eye Blind - Third Eye Blind. (What can I say, I've been listening to it a lot lately. )
McFly - Wonderland
Fun. - Some Nights
Hotel California - The Eagles
As a New Romantic..............
Lexicon of Love - ABC
Dare - Human League
