A special worldwide edition of The X Factor will air in Indonesia with Louis Walsh, Daniel Bedingfield and Paula Abdul serving as judges.

X Factor Around the World is planned by FremantleMedia Asia as a one-off celebration rather than a competition. It marks the success of the first season in the country, which finished in May.

Last year's X Factor runner-up Jahmene Douglas, the winner of the US edition's first season Melanie Amaro and X Factor Australia season four winner Samantha Jade and finalists The Collective will perform on the show.

Syco and FremantleMedia executives will monitor the performance of the X Factor special to see if the concept could translate to other markets.

Indonesian judges Anggun and Ahmed Dahni will offer advice to the guest acts alongside UK judge Walsh, New Zealand judge Bedingfield and former US judge Abdul.

Bedingfield and Anggun will also take to the stage during the RCTI programme on August 24. The X Factor Indonesia Top 12 will also give a joint performance.

"This is the first time we have had an international [judging] panel for an Asian programme, which is a massive coup for us," FremantleMedia Asia managing director Paul O'Hanlon told The Hollywood Reporter.

"X Factor Around the World in Indonesia has proven there is an appetite in the country for international artists who were showcased on local X Factors.

"Both FremantleMedia and [format owner] Syco are excited about this special event for Indonesia. We are looking forward to seeing its performance and what opportunities may exist in the future."

X Factor Indonesia beat Indonesian Idol's seventh season seven to become the top-rated entertainment show in the country this year.

The top ten contestants all secured recording contracts with Sony, and winner Fatin has gone on to become a successful star in Indonesia.

I honestly think Jahmene's performance was terrible, he had some good ones on the UK but that was awful in my opinion. If they do a real world X Factor show then I hope they choose someone better to represent the UK.

I wish someone would just pull Jahmene aside and either coach him on hitting those higher notes and runs he hits better or discourage him from it all together.

I love him, I think his voice is great but he's still making the same mistakes and errors that he was on X Factor. His normal chest voice is absolutely gorgeous and so soulful, and while I do enjoy it when he hits the high notes well he needs to improve his accuracy.

That said, I'm glad he's having success. One contestant who clearly loves music and everything it does for him.

Jahmene's voice is screechy and whiny! Its become more and more obvious since X Factor Ended but he also does way to many vocal runs.

You have to understand that this is gospel music. Jahmene isn't trying to be a pop singer, he is singing gospel interpretations, and that is not to everyones taste.

Listen to one of the greatest Gospel singers of our generation Yolanda Adams. It is music from the soul

I like that, but Jahmene just seems all over the place to me and sounds like he struggles to control his voice.

Yes I know gospel music, but he still needs to hit correct notes and stay on key.
