resident evil reboot a'la dmc?

Having played a fair chunk of dmc and read all the rave reviews got me thinking, as good as resident evil 6 is its a million miles away from the original premise of survival horror, so is it time capcom handed the franchise, to an external studio like ninja theory to bring the franchise back to its glory days? 5 & 6 are good games but they are survival action games.
Resident evil needs to be a survival horror,
Personally I would like a small role playing element I:e
Jill picking locks like in elder scroll/fallout.
Hacking computers like in fallout
Creating v-jolt and other anti vitals like the alchemy in skyrim
& wepon modding like skyrim/mass effect.
So 2014 let's see a remake where beat cops jill valentine and Chris redfield stumble across Spencer training academy and encounter the progenitor virus, dr Marcus ex cop turned security chief barry burton and undercover pharma tech spy ada wong and at the end of the game see Chris & jill recruited to stars set up by rpd with Carlos olivera and Albert wesker heading it up, there first mission to capture awol marine Billy coen who is hiding out in the Spencer mansion with his genius girlfriend Rebecca chambers...

They can tone this franchise down without having to reset everything just look at revelations it was a step in the scary direction again so RE7 could take notes from that and actually review feedback from 6 and give us a brand new fresh sequel like what RE4 was back in 05
