That list that was going round needs a couple of ticks on it. More to come? Let's hope so.

Are the arrests not likely to be the people who owned the guest house at the time?

    ETA - Just seen this

by Lucy Manning - UK Editor
John Stingemore, former deputy head of the Grafton Close children's home, is believed to be one of the men arrested by police investigating alleged child abuse at Elm Guest House.

I do think celebs with wandering hands (with adults) should not be part of the same investigation. This is for two reasons. One, it distracts from the investigation into child abuse and two, while they may be creeps, they are not necessarily child abusers.

And then the media could drop the phrase "arrested by Savile polcie" (or similar ) which people assume means paedophilia is involved.

Whilst an adult who has been groped has every right to complain it has no place in the same investigation as paedophile abuse even if it is called "others"

The second person is a 66-year-old Roman Catholic priest who was arrested in Norfolk.

    Well, well, well.

Not exactly a shock, a Roman Catholic priest being a paedophile.

Or any preacher for that matter. Recently we had two arrests of protestant ministers for abusing children. Not that catholics priests are much better, but I can't help but notice they have more press.

Let's hope that all involved with child sex abuse are arrested considering the police are investigating allegations of paedophilia by politicians and other members of the establishment in the 1980s.

If you researched those who visited it isn't just priests but former Cabinet Ministers, MPs, politicians from all ideologies - Fascism, Socialism, Republicanism, and then you have Judges of the Crown, high ranking police officers.

No well, well, well there?

Its quite similar to the disgusting paedophile actions at the Kincora Boy's School frequently visited by Church of Ireland and other Protestant Ministers. Very similar cases.

Well, well, well. what does that say about organised religion?

It says that some people will use it to hide what they really are in what was a respected institution ( and sadly their bosses chose to hide it to protect their institution and got it very very wrong ) , just as many others hide in other institutions as we have seen. But I wouldn't tar everyone with the same brush , for every bad one there are dozens of good .

I wish I could believe that.

Time and again, if corruption of any sort is not rooted out, it spreads. When people have financial pressures (family, mortgage, etc), and do not want to risk losing their jobs, they do not blow the whistle.

Those that do blow the whistle are often ignored. If they continue rocking the boat they are shown the door.

And what it says about politics, similarly, is that all politicians are not paedophiles but some may be.

Crikey. ITV London News has Elm Guest House as its second item. The MSM are getting interested now there's been some arrests.
    No new information though.

All I can say is at last lets see some proper investigation into child abuse, cover ups or anything else. Its about time these kids got some justice.

Celebrity gropers are all very well but thats a whole other kettle of fish.

At least it's being talked about. They mentioned 'big names' and showed the guestbooks (albeit blurred so you couldn't see those names).

Be interesting to see what happens next.

Celebrity Saudi preacher 'raped' and tortured his five-year-old daughter to death
He's paid money, now free from jail after only serving a few months

    money talks

Sadly, i think money is also a reason why prominent politicians, and other wealthy people will never be brought to Justice, as a result of child abuse investigations

Also, why Savile got away with what he did for so long
People did not talk, as they knew he was famous, and had plenty of money, to hire the best lawyers, and sue, should anyone spill the beans

    C4 News item starting now.
8.35 on C4+1 if you missed it!

First time I've seen Mary Moss being interviewed I think.

They've talked to a policeman who was on the original raid. He said they were briefed beforehand that there might be "high-profile" people there.

C4 confront Harry Kasir then he used to run it.

They should have confronted pop stars and politicians with their cameras.
